if you need only 1 set, then go for m-audio, as they can cater both worlds (entertainment and mixing), then save to get yamaha in the future for honest mixing. knowing your speaker response is the key to good mixing.

This particular Viewsonic model is not even in the same league when it comes to color reproduction compared to the Apple display. The apple display is a P3 Wide color monitor while the Viewsonic is sRGB only. That means the Apple display can show a ton more colors, specially richer reds and blues. Perhaps it is overpriced, but it is still a superior monitor, there is no comparison, if color is what you're mostly concerned with.

both are great, i do agree the M-Audio sounds more fun and is better if you like making things like beats/pop/dance music… but the yamaha’s have their place in sounding so bland that if you make it sound good on yamahas, 99% of the time they sound good everywhere else. based on what i hear from many hip-hop producers, the producers with yamaha speakers generally have far better mixes. just an observation

first those are thermal pads so where are a interface for cooling and second the i pad is not going to get better performance because of the cooling the only thing ia going to keep the temperature and performance stable for a while but after some time is going to not work third use a tec cooler they are better

I get bashed by apple fanboys who can't seem to hear 'apple missed the boat'. I have used both platforms extensively to be able to compare and give my 2-pence but facts is not what want. Perhaps they just don't want to hear that all tgat money they poured on 'new' apple lately, is for things that had existed for 5-10 years already. Anyway, back to comparison, Apple is really suitable for out-of-the-box plug and play users who find customisation 'geeky'. The fact is, Android and Windows users are more tweak-capable and tech-savvy than Apple users. Secondly, Android and Windows users have a very critical business-customer relationship where every feature is extensively cross-examined, and even bashed before being appreciated. This does keep companies on their toes. Conversely, Apple have a fandom which gets excited over every feature and is emotionally (not rationally) invested in defending the move. This allows apple to 'fool' them and even 'rip them off' as has been the case in terms of Competitiveness and value proposition for over a decade now (after Steve Jobs in fact). Why bother innovating software+hardware if shareholders are happy with shinny adverts and marketing over hardware-focused increments alone! And the cheek of it to say 'we have always had AI built in'... and apple fans buys it 😂

Unfortunately apple always release mini features now with ai. Because if you haven't noticed they are boring so they fool their apple sheep by giving them small bits of features slowly. Example they now say you can change icon colours or move them. Now with siri and ai they will milk the sheep once again. You know they are dumb I know they are dumb but they have the status and people want to buy apple. Until somehow it changes they will just milk n milk. 😊

So all review based only on features does not take user case into consideration. So you cannot conclude on this basis that a product is bad or good. As many has said on their reply to Gerald. There are no bad cameras released the last 5 years. Some are targeting a user case that it is not yours but it will make it bad. For instance OM Systems focus on wildlife and birds photography and less on video. This does not make their cameras bad simply because you are focusing on video or if you are a wedding or potrait photographer. Another problem of Gerald video came after he has not been invited to Lumix event. They said to him that he may not like the cameras. Simply he has to understand he is not the target audience. Besides that many who replied to him said that manufacturers wants feedback during those events and Gerald does not review does cameras on site, so he can’t give feedback. So less valuable at such events, which the manufacturer pays the cost. Many replies he got from his video was negative. Many disagreed with him such as Tony Northrup and Dan Watson. The best replied was from Robin Wong on his blogspot at robinwong.blogspot. He said if you are not invited then you are not important as you think you are. I love iPadOS! I’m sure the iPad & Macbook will morph together someday… but as an artist, the iPad in it’s current state is the single best product that Apple has ever made. Hands down. Not only is it the best digital sketchbook ever created, it is better than any laptop for content creation & media consumption IMHO. I prefer writing on it over a laptop. It’s better for surfing the web. For editing photos & videos. Plus it is thinner & lighter than any laptop. I ditched my laptop back in 2018 for the iPad Pro and haven’t looked back. So i don’t get all the iPadOS hate. I fully embraced & converted to an iPadOS only workflow. I just think Mac users are just stuck on MacOS.
