I just wanted to say your first Sonic 3 video was one of the most influential videos for me to create documentary style content about video game events. Thank you! I do hope someday, you consider to make more videos! But thank you again!!!

Thank you for the kind words and that's so wonderful that the video inspired you!
@Larry4 ай бұрын
@@Qjimbo That's quite alright, been intending to say for the longest time. But I think it opened a lot of eyes that videos documenting old video games could be far more than a comedic stick to beat them with which most of the other content was doing at the time! BTW If you ever wanted to do a guest voice for quotes on one of my future videos, it would be an honour :)

Thanks for sharing this update, especially as a massive fan of sonic 3 being my favourite in the series and being a fan of Michael Jackson it’s very clear that carnival night zone ice cap zone and launch base zone were composed by Michael Jackson’s team and I would say the end credits theme as well. It’s one of those rare cases that the soundtrack development for the game is as interesting as the game itself.

I don't know how Brad Buxor became one of MJs top collaborators, but it's likely he followed MJ's older work and wanted to match the sound of it with his work, or got that spot because he was already producing music in line with the sound MJ liked, or a mixture of both. So a similarity between that older work and Ice Cap by Buxor isn't too far of a stretch.

I remember when this first came out I was so blissfully unaware of my simple assumption that the music was actually made by Michael jackson - not understanding such things as copyright and what an accusation was. Nice to revisit 16 years later :-) a true iconic KZbin video and one that has been copied many times but never quite done it for me the same way yours does. To the pont when wanting to re view this I still knew who to search - qjimbo.😊

Will fans ever realize how bad r@pe allegations are? Even if you personally don't believe it, company PR cares about it weather it's true or false. I am not only blaming you, I am blaming you AND this entire crooked "community" which is semi-obsessed with a very, very feminine singer, causing the MJ estate to re-open their investigation on sonic 3.

Yet another comment telling you how this was one of my favorite videos in the days of early KZbin, 6th or 7th grade for me. I remember watching this on my dads laptop in his room. ironically, I was actually obsessed with Michael Jackson at the time and downloading all his music; and sonic was my favorite video game franchise since childhood. most of my friends thought it was boring or weird but it was very interesting and well narrated (: it's so hard to find old KZbin videos now! maybe there is some filter on the desktop site to sort by year but this one slipped away from me until the other week.
