The box is slightly different for us in Aus, on the back the image is smaller and there’s a bunch of different languages… I’m guessing there’s a US box, Japan box and then an “international” box which we get in Aus

Quick correction: the Playstation symbols are in fact still embedded in the grip of the controller -- just very hard to see!

Great episode boys! Great to see you all back at it again, and great to see Seth here since Austin said he wasn’t sure how often Seth would be able to join due to his still being on night shift. I would love to try and catch an episode live, but since I work nights I’m mostly sleeping when you go live. Still great to see Frame Skip back in the saddle!

Quick note: In this review, I mentioned that the film had a $15M USD budget. New reports from Tokyo Comic Con are saying it was even lower than that. Takashi Yamazaki reportedly said "I wish it were that much" when discussing the $15M reports. a note on the CGI, I think it was perfect. It was believable and tangible. Using the MCU as the standard point for CGI, the MCU is way overwhelming with too much depth and color to the point you don't really see anything at all, totally forgettable moments later when you are flashed and dazzled with more CGI. Godzilla Minus One, wasn't nearly as huge in scope, but it was focused and balanced with more muted tones while not being dark... it was focused right where the action is and not all flash and backgrounds. They had alot of practical effects too, which is more lifelike in it's imperfections anyway. Loved it. Must see movie.

Totally agree on the CGI. I rewatched the movie in IMAX the day after I posted this video and was even more impressed at how good it looked while watching on a considerably larger screen. The water sequences in particular are absolutely stunning.

My favorite Godzilla is the one that is oozing plasma and is all messed up. Also Mecha Godzilla. I've never seen Godzilla

Marvel does retain the game rights comic rights Etc but with Sony owning the film rights it give them a lot of leeway over Marvel to do what they want with him while Marvel trying to please Sony to retain the very little film rights they do have with the character now because of their deal (for example a year ago or so they almost took Spider-Man out of the MCU which I believe to be a Sony temper tantrum to show Marvel the power they possess over the character) it's less of a relationship and more of a hostage situation where if Marvel slips up no more Spider-Man for them😂
