I know this is an old video, but for anyone watching this: they were just roosting / seeking a safe place to sleep for the night (nearly every area in the U.S. has a Vulture roost where they all go at night!). Turkey Vultures are gentle, extremely non-confrontational birds and only eat things that are already dead. They don't attack humans or pets. They also don't have a voice box, so they can only make hiss and grunt sounds (which is why they're so silent!). They clean the environment of stinky, rotting things and thus they keep diseases away from humans... which means their existence greatly benefits us! They're actually amazing birds!!

Hi, Ron. Fortunately, I had the foresight to save all of my strips as jpg a few years ago. When I created new ones I always saved them so I have all of them. The worst part is that I have a spiral notebook full of ideas I hadn't put into strips now. I can't draw, and no other site on the internet really compares to the amount of choices you had on Bitstrips. No other site allows you to move their head from side to side. Well, I can draw...and while I am rusty, I have been messing about on the iPad with the iPencil, so who knows...? In all seriousness, I was a huge fan of 'The Lemonade Stand', and thought it stood up with any syndicated "pro" strip out there. It was one of the reasons I kept coming to bitstrips. I will share the link with our little FB group, where we also have a small group of devoted, if somewhat demented, devotees to your strip. If you're on FB at all, I'd be happy to add you....if not, no biggie, as we now have your stuff now! LOL! At the end of the day, I am RELIEVED to see it wasn't lost to the ether!

I hope you were able to save your strips, now that bitstrips has shut down....if not, keep an eye out on your email. Supposedly, they are going to send one out in order to give everyone an opportunity to save them properly.

Its funny, when I searched for Bitstrips, your four year old video comes up. Today Bitstrips have about 20M users, thanks to Facebook. Back in 2009 u used it, pretty much no one else I guess.

not a KCRW exclusive BUT it was the version that they were playing as an advance. I think it was simply known as the 'radio edit' but not 100% sure of that. def not the album version unfortunately. lost my copy.. glad to have found it here!
