Can any one explain what’s going on with/the reason behind the combines lifting (what I think is straw) swaths and ditching into the karts, when the guy harvesting looks to be chopping and spraying? I’ve only ever seen swaths bailed.

Not gonna lie...... watching that huge sprayer make a turn at the end of a row and the inside boom rotating around a point was pretty freaking cool.....
