Where are the cognitive functions? Those examples are about ESFJs. ENFJ is not superficial, but complex and more about a global vision and make the world a better place, not just being good or a good leader. Ni works as a symbolic understanding of the world, and an intellectual approach that not everyone can have. Generaly using methaphores, analogies and almost in a mystical or philosophical way. That's what make them *special* and *rare*.

Due to an environment of hypervigilance, control and punishment, I am careful about everything I do, I get offended extremely easily so I watch out for the word that comes out of my head and I punish myself for showing weaknesses. I cannot do things like manipulate without a sufficiently truthful and large justification behind it, because otherwise it is as if my soul breaks and does not have the strength to continue, my ego breaks, preventing me from continuing, my justifications were, "To defeat the bad guy one must be twice as bad", "If you are the good one, the one who has good intentions, then you are superior and you must be there by force, otherwise the bad one will do it", "pretending that predators will not eat you because you are vegetarian is "It's stupid, it manipulates." I do not have the ability to lie, without feeling bad and paying for that with some addiction or punishing myself on purpose, or improving myself, I am constantly changing. When an ENFJ is born in a manipulative environment and isolates themselves, they can commit suicide or adapt, I chose to remain calm at all times, no matter the situation, because anger generates cancer and toxins, to survive you have to be a strategist, and to win to the forces of evil, one must be more capable than the evil one. I remember hitting myself, or burning myself on purpose with hot water, feeling relief and pleasure, but if it hadn't been for that I would never have learned that you have to always stay calm, because, "getting angry in a society that punishes justice own hand is meaningless, which psychopaths take advantage of for their benefit".

whoever made this video needs to read Psychological Types and tailor their content (in regards to MBTI) according to actual Jungian cognitive functions, because MBTI wouldn't exist without the cognitive functions. 1:35 for example, they confuse Te, Se and think TiNe/NeTi are the same. facts and evidence are Te and Se. Ti, to some extent, does need facts, but in the sense that facts are only useful when they support Ti's theory, because Ti operates in the realm of logic, and Ne theories, hypotheticall scenarios, possibilities. please get yourself Psychological Types so you don't spread inaccurate information.

INFP here. I’ve met one and I hope I never meet one like him again. He ended up being the most evil person I’ve ever met. He started off extremely charming and he loved to talk and tell the coolest stories. And he told them in a way where I felt like I was there. He also seemed to know exactly what I wanted and needed. It was like a mind reading ability which was great at times but got dark quickly. His demon Te would come out and he was a monster. He would make decisions for me and act like he knew what was best for everyone regardless of their objections. I felt I was being brainwashed and didn’t even know who I was anymore. He had me so addicted to him and he seemed to love the control of toying with my mind. He ended up ending his own life three weeks after finding out I was pregnant. After he died, I went through his stuff and found out he had sick sexual fetishes and was even interested in young children. He was also in a leadership position in the military and would sleep with her superior and subordinates. He had this interesting habit of documenting EVERYTHING from conversations he’s had with people to journaling to important dates or other reminders. Must be that Si blindspot but he even had pictures and wrote these disgusting things down that he’s done or wanted to do. I hate it had to end the way it did, but I feel like I really dodged a huge bullet and so did our now 11 year old daughter that he’s never met. ENFJs are so powerful and I’m sure most use their talents for good and genuinely want to make this world a better place, but if they are unhealthy or corrupted, they can cause so much damage and to be fair, any type is capable of evil as well, so I don’t want to single ENFJ out. Just telling my experience with one bad one.

It's odd how the letters are INTP, when you look at it, I wonder why not call us IITP, I can only be taken as Introverted, and so N from Intuitive is taken? Makes no sense, feels like the same style as the periodic table of elements.

@@mischievousgamer8747 I had a think about it and i'm definitely more big picture than not, I've learned to force myself to tackle the small details (to the point of getting bogged-down perfecting them) because otherwise i'd skip the lot and end up in the s*** -.- And the practicality side of things I think is maybe more to do with my life experience; I like the theory a lot, but there have been many times when i've reached a point where too much theorising became detrimental and I'd rather have been thrown in at the deep end to get things moving. My recent tech training has been excruciating for that reason, to the extent where I gave up because nothing of any substance / worth was being created as it would be had I been doing it in a job, it was all just "practise practise practise".

Everything was accurate wow... And the thing about not tolerating lies is absolutely right, one of the most hated things for me, and yes i almost detect lies all the times. It's just a gut feeling that something isn't adding up. Growing up, i was always a curious child at school so i would always ask my teacher 'why is this like that?' and they'd get impatient. Now I don't ask as much as before, as I think it might be annoying, but if I'm curious enough, i won't hold back at all!

Listening and commenting as I go along ... Re: #5 ... I've had used the Hawkins Scale / EGS # system during a particularly extended stressful period where I couldn't identify my feelings, just that I was experiencing different levels of Not Great. Weird to say, but that's how it was. With the scale, since it was tied to #'s, if I was well above 200, I knew it was a good/better day. I actually created a tracking grid sheet where I would log my early + late AM ID'd state score, as well as the early + late PM score, and a final bedtime score. I would then average the 5 numbers out for the day and then average all the daily #'s for the week. It was the only way that I had a sense if I was doing better or worse. Paper journaling is a waste of time and there was no squeezing in therapy during that period. I wish there was an app out there based on this vs. those stupid emoji face mood trackers. I found it to be way more efficient with numbers. Especially when you're already feeling like a robot.

I swear, if I wasn't an ENTP I probably would/should have been fired or "written up" (pffffft) quite a few times over. I've literally had top-volume screaming matches with 2 company owners and a handful with another (INTP) coworker that one of those bosses was fully aware of. I'm still pretty shocked that I remained employed during those episodes. I run a lot of social experiments at my current job. For fun and to elicit (hopefully positive) change for the win. They usually involve low-to-moderate levels of chaos and conflict, but nothing too crazy. I work for government now so it has to be low key. 😄 I absolutely know I aggravate people at times (work + non-work), but I also aggravate myself. As far as I'm concerned, join the club. It probably does help that I have some kind of (winning?? 🤷‍♀️) personality for the offset. I'd probably be being hanged from the rafters otherwise.

A few thoughts: I used what I termed a "pile system" (as opposed to a "file system"). Every time an item is accessed, it goes on the top middle of the pile. Items that make it to the bottom of the pile haven't been used in a while, so when the pile becomes too unwieldy, they are evaluated for permanent filing, trash, or returned to the top middle of the pile for another round. This system developed organically. Only when coworkers commented on how I could always find relevant things quickly in such a "disorganized mess" did I analyze how my "system" worked. An intern once commented in amazement that whenever he asked me for a reference document or spec, regardless of the topic, I always pulled it from the same small folder in my cabinet. This also developed organically. If I anticipated someone would need a document in the future, I simply placed it in that folder. I was surprised to learn that not everyone did this. I made headway against my perfectionism by realizing that energy and time have value. Sometimes "good enough" is perfectly optimized when viewed from a larger perspective.
