Fugging h£ll man. I am late to the party! But i finally watched the movie, The Doors. I knew bits & bobs about Jim Morrison. But if that movie is anywhere near a quarter of the truth? That guy was dangerous & he was destined to die very young! Love the music. But he was more reckless than most of the Legends in the music industry. I don't even think fame is to blame on this one. This is so dark it gives me chills. The atmosphere is so dense, sinister and sexy one can hardly breathe. And the cello suggests a torture session that is simultaneously painful and delicious

I don't like this version. It's like they don't grasp the appeal of the original at all. Every attempt to spice it up just makes it worse, more amateurish and generic sounding. Nice solo though, but I prefer the hypnotic vibe over the erratic vibe for this song.

This is a fantastic version, there's nothing wrong in reinterpreting classics, it accumulates and doesn't take anything from the original. Give it another chance

I was there in Spain for this festival. This was an absolutely fantastic set. The band had us eating out of their hands, they were so good. I still remember that top guy being held up by his friends giving it everything.
