I was watching this and heard a name I know well: George Crochet. Was this the same radio personality who later worked at KPEL in my home town of Lafayette, LA a few miles down the road from Houston in the 1960s? Does anyone know? He used to open the morning show with "a great big bonjour and a double-barreled 'comment ça-va' to you all" every weekday around 6 AM.
