Mint has a Rim Depth of 1.4cm. I’d consider that a 4 speed approach disc that could be used as a putter especially for those who like shallower discs for putting since it has a 1.7 rim height and a flat top.

For sure! They’re really nice, plastic feels great and they have a clean, good looking stamp and fun, tasty names for the discs. And by now they more or less have a complete line-up. Can’t recomend Clash Discs enough.

Yes!! I'd love to see Planty become a wide-spread thing in disc golf. P.S. Clash and Bodanza should team up (or, "clash" worlds). Butter and Guava in Planty plastic, please!

It would be ideal if Clash were transparent about their process. In the sense of what plants were used and how much biomass is necessary. The last thing the world needs is another false show of supposed environmentalism.

From my experience many "bio-based" plastics actually have higher CO2-footprint than "regular" plastics due to agriculture emissions, watering etc. Would love to learn more of this Planty plastic.

While that may be the case it does at least do a bit better as far as sustainability goes, because it reduces plastic waste That is kind of the difficult thing in the world at the moment, we need to cut down on CO2 and at the same time we should reduce the use of plastic

I hope the price is reasonable, if so my bag will have a ton of this (as context I don't even have much Clash at the moment) So if this bioplastic is good my bag might change a lot I would have trash panda discs if I could reasonably buy them in Finland

So it's an undermold instead of an overmold. I mean there's no actual data that shows gyro or this or that does anything better than what Innova and Discraft have been doing for decades and discs are really more or less solved at this point, but these still look cool so they'll definitely sell.

interesting that your first thought was to compare to mvp’s overmold. my impression was that this was more of a durability play than a flight performance play. will be curious to hear what their marketing is on them going forward.
