Ahoj...

Hello. This engine has just entered the Turkish market. However, I have some hesitations about spare parts. In our country, distributors bring motorcycles of some brands and models, but then they do not pay attention to spare parts. In this case, buyers may be victimized. What I want to ask is, is there any problem in obtaining spare parts for this engine? Is it possible to supply parts from abroad? If it can be done, is there a website you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Not sure why but they probably state it on semisynthetic oil. I have 3 of these and the engines seems to be bullet proof. I would not worry too much about the warranty. They good bikes. I used them for motorcycle rental and they get abused by customers and still go strong

I wanted to buy NHT200, but according to the manual you have to change the oil every 1000km! Such a shame,if I would buy it and don't change the oil every 1000km the warranty will not cover any possible damage to the engine....great shame for SYM not to be able to sort it out

Hello, I'm in Kenya and don't have info on how much oil the bike takes. I put in 1 liter and it was good, but then a mechanic said they need 1.2 liters. When we did that, it really seems like it struggles on the top end to get enough fuel and power to push up the revs in 4th 5th 6th. Could you tell me how much oil you put in it when you service?

Thanks for this review, I have been looking for one by an actual owner that has it tested in harsh conditions. Vehicle renting is very harsh on both car and motorcycles and this seems to handle it like a champ. Only question is: do you know if SYM provides replacement body plastics in case of a severe fall?
@cusco-activities
@cusco-activities Жыл бұрын
Hi Thanasis, this is the reason why I have put crash bars to protect the motorcycle body plastics. I highly recommend it to you to do the same. My bikes have been dropped many times and thanks to this crash bars there are no significant damages. Here in Peru, no matter what brand you have if it is a Honda, Yamaha or SYM, the dealers sell you bike but getting spare parts is a problem here. Check with your local dealer first.

It is a great motorcycle. I have bought also the Sym Crox125cc and it has been going strong. All up it is a great brand. I also had the opportunity to ride the Hero Xpulse. It was 6 months old, 10 000km and everything was rattling and the suspension was finished. Squeezed the back of the motorcycle and it bounced 4 times up and down. Comparing to the SYm nNHT, now it has 16 000km and everything is the same as when i bought it new.

I've taken mine up to 138 Kph on the highway, at sea level on a flat road; I would say around 140 Kph is the top speed, maybe a little more. I get around 320 km - 350 km on a tank of fuel, it depends how and where I ride. I'm 95 kg and have been riding it for around 1.5 years, bike is from 2019.

@@Edaoudi If mostly for riding around the city, in traffic, some dirt or back roads and sometimes highway or occasional longer trips it is still worth it; especially for the price I paid. If I was buying one now, and I could find a good price, I would try get the 300cc version; which wasn't an option when I got this one. On some longer trips I've done it would have felt a little bit nicer to have more power. That said I am still riding the NHT 200, I don't plan to sell it anytime soon. It has still given no issues at all and goes well, it seems to be a very reliable bike. The real speed is probably 10 kph slower than what the bike displays in my earlier reply; but still okay most of the time.
