Good morning, I don't know if it's still active. I need help. It's doing the same thing but with a Francis-type hydraulic turbine and finding the speed triangle. I did it with the Hydraulic Turbine Report but I get power, efficiency, angles and speeds that are very different. I don't know much about the program so I don't know what the error would be. I use bladegen- turbogird- cfx. I need to simulate a hydraulic (water) turbine in a power plant and compare the power and efficiency data and the speed triangle in a numerical and analytical way. The problem is that it doesn't even come close to matching.

Hello, if you are simulating Francis Turbine, use ANSYS Fluent not CFX because it is not suitable to do in Turbomode. Get research articles related to the point of research and checkout the methodology and approach. You will find my video about a centrifugal fan in FLUENT to know the basics. Thanks

I'll guarantee that if the truth were somehow found out, alcohol was the thing that enabled him to make his first kills. Hello dear Roaya, you're welcome! Something is not coreect with the orocedure, geometry or meshing or setup. Generate the same geometry (same dimensions) then follow the steps with the same inputs and you will get the same results. Thanks

Hello, simply you create a monitor as I showed to monitor the temperature of the PV at the specified hour set in the solar ray tracing. Run the simulation until you find the temperature does not change. Then run other simulations at different hours and plot all the data on one plot, x axis has the time in hours and the y axis shows the temperature. You gotta input the required boundary conditions at each simulaton. Thanks

You gotta change the cell zone material and all related properties and boundary conditions related to the cooling fluid because the conditions of the experiment at air differ from water. One doubt ,How to define zones, like for split fcus we dnt need to creat zones , but incase of AhU how we can select zones based on what. Its our own choice or what.
