Can somebody help me with 2 interface problems? When i right click on a static mesh in the content browser, the "convert to skeletal mesh" option is not showing. And when i double click on a skeletal mesh, the blue "Editing Tools" button is not showing...?? Edit: turns out you need the "skeletal mesh editing tools" plugin enabled, cheers

Exactly what I was looking for to get started experimenting. I can now make my stickman character modeling / animating everything inside unreal. All I was finding was full character skeleton tutorials, usually imported from another program. Thanks for doing this.

The first thing you need to do is enable the Skeletal mesh editing tools plugin !!! For a long time I didn’t understand why I didn’t have a conversion button !

I anyone did not get this editing feature, just go to plugins then type skeletal mesh editing tools . Enable it . And you will be able to see the feature.

This is awesome, incredible work! I've managed to create a Chaos Flesh actor perfectly but I can't find a way to move the simulation based on collisions from other objects, it just deforms but I get no impulse from its physics to move.

Thanks for sharing, hoping to see the tutorial soon. I know basic blender stuff but rigging/animation is definitely a thing I don't like to do in blender. But seeing how you can easily do this now with ue 5.3 then more likely I can add more gore and body parts for a horror game. Would love to see how you would paint the skin where it bends or folds to prevent artifacts, also adding the physics asset of these tentacles.

Hi again. So I opened up UE 5,3 and there is no blue editing tool box thingi. Yes I clicked on the "skeleton mesh". So I don't have the tools for editing and creating the skeleton. Any ideas? :-) Thanx again!
