I so wish I would have researched these prior to purchasing the hobo cousins. I really like this SI but I would need an a5, it’s the perfect size for me. I have a personal food journal in a hobo weeks, my cousin for all main planning for me family, then a personal journal. I do like the monthly and daily only❤

I posted a video last month on my Techo Kaigi and I'm using the same Daily book (but A5), and it seems like we're using it very similarly! Additionally I picked up one of the 64 page grid booklets in case I ever get itchy about needing an Alastair list or some kind of project planning. It can tuck right in the cover, there's no structure so I can pick it up and then quit it as needed without stress, and I don't have to worry about flipping between pages in one book (I'd considered doing half page weeklies in the blank pages at the end of each month, but truly I am not a flipper!) It seems like you've worked out a similar fix with your rings. My Daily also had ripples but all throughout the book and all along each page near the spine, and she ended up giving me a small refund for the damage.

I also use the weekly to record what I did that day! I like having the week all together though because at the beginning of the week I pencil in (literally!) all of the stuff I already have scheduled and my BF's hours so I get an idea of what kind of availability I have when other things come up

I used a daily for 2024 after using the weekly vertical for 2023....i honestly regretted not having the Wo2p layout.

I'm researching small printer videos and I've watched one where hp sprocket paper was used in the canon ivy with better results....I'll have to double check....I've double checked and the video is on a channel ROAM it RALPH, a comparison between hp sproket the canon ivy and fujifilm instax, the sproket paper in the canon might be the best option

Thank you for stating the paper size!! Other reviewers neglect this. Love your reviews. I'd recommend switching the zinc paper for the Ivy with the idprt paper simce they'rethe same size...see if that will make a difference in the color rendering 🖖🥰

I also bought the journey planner this year (A5), and have reservations about how light the grid is - sucks to be middle-aged! It is expensive and in theory gives me everything I need, so I’m determined to use it, come what may as my weight, diet and mobility are my main goals for 2025 and this planner means I can keep everything together. And, Nisha has changed the Saturday and Sunday pages from half days to full days. I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise as I don’t use dated dailies but will use washi/whiteout if I have to. That wasn’t possible at all when one page was split between two days. I find it fascinating that I don’t like dailies - being told to use one page only for a journal entry and make an entry everyday doesn’t sit well, but others really don’t like writing a date or adding a sticker. We are all such funny creatures 😂. I do already have the Wonderland 222 and the Sterling Ink on hand if it goes badly wrong, but I’d be delighted to have to redate them for 2026/7. I’ll buy sticker packs instead of planners for the next couple of years - and save myself some money 😂.

You’re not picky! My one is even worse… And the spine already torn (handled the book for about an hour).. And there is no conversation to be had with N. Really, really bad experience. I’d go even as far as calling this a fraud. Didn’t receive what I was promised. No help to resolve this either - not to my liking anyway. Do not recommend or wish onto anyone.

I love to decorate/sketch, etc. so I prefer lighter graph ev though I’m in my 60’s. To me the grid recedes to the background, I dislike dark grids

The Journey Planner is a great planner. It was new for 2024 and I shared it when it launched. I think Nisha did an amazing job on it. Definitely reach out to her. As a shop owner we do our best to quality check every planner but sometimes one slips thru the cracks and unpacking and repacking 1000s of them can cause issues too. I’m sure Nisha will make it right if you reach out.

I used that planner last year and LOVED it! It held up great. I think you should contact her and get a replacement. Mine didn’t have any imperfections.

I’d recommend reaching out to the seller and request a replacement due to the quality issues. I know that sterling ink unboxes and quality checks hers, this seller should do the same. She should stand behind her product and replace it for you. I think you will fall in love with it if you receive a perfect one

I had similar creases/folding in a B6 from a different company and it made me feel the same way. Like yes, the pages will get wrinkled from use, but I prefer to be the cause of it. I thought maybe it was done during shipping but seeing how well yours was packaged it must have been during printing. Never had that with Sterling Ink though, probably because she checks them so well. Thanks for sharing your feelings.

Thanks for this! Have you tried the SketchInk in your preppy yet? I love this ink for sketching! "Lilly" is my go-to "gray". I tried to refill my old 0.3 preppy about a year ago but there was some major flow issues. 😂. Might very well be because I don't treat my pens too kindly, so I would appreciate to hear how it worked for you! 🙏

Great video and I like you printed the same picture with all of the printers. I can’t find the canon 1300, did they update it to the 1500? I saw comments that say it does not print a 4x6 size so I’m wondering what size the picture is? I didn’t know there was a printer that prints square prints. Cool! I’ve been researching other printers and can’t decide between the Canon 1500, Polaroid Hi print, there was a Kodak one, and a brand called Liene.

This is a great video, you should check out the Canon Selphy CP1500, it has a wide range of different papers available that I would assume fits the CP1300 also, even sticker paper and business card paper ? They say that the 1500 prints in super great quality and the print will last for 100 years. I am that kinda guy that really likes looking at pictures so its really great to have a super good printer with an interesting printing technology to print all pictures you want.. But with the bound planner, how can you add to it or take out of it? That’s my biggest problem. I like a ring planner because it’s adjustable and I can do more with it. But there seems to be more options within a bound planner, which makes zero sense to me. This whole plan of world just seems to be more confusing by the day. I mean, all people really want to do is manage their their life their work their families effectively and I feel like it’s overwhelming

Look, I would fully understand if you wanted some pictures on the move but none of these produce particularly good or accurate results and basically, in a nutshell, the quality is absolute garbage for all of these. Not trying to be a troll but no one is really dumb enough to come home after their holiday and print, all their photographs out on a die sublimation. Printer. That's just so stupid. If you want your photos to come out, looking good, and you actually got the space to put a printer then, I don't know, go and buy a photo printer and actually make your photos look like photos. All of these look like trash, you would never print these out and start putting them into photo albums. They're just not designed for that. That is not why these little printers are made stupid, stupid stupid stupid, stupid stupid. Why are you encouraging people to do that? Dumb as. You can pick up decent. Proper photo printers of lab quality less than the price of one of these and they print amazing photos and I mean, amazing photos. You're not going to be printing professional grade or even mid-grade photographs on sticker paper. Come on.....
