Very helpful video, I’m going to attempt this myself on my fusion. Can you explain to me the part about connecting the battery terminals after unhooking it? I didn’t see that part in another video on this issue but it seems important, so I want to make sure I’m not missing something. Thank you in advance.

Anytime you mess with electrical connections you want to unhook your battery sometimes could cause a short, blown fuse, etc instead just unhook the battery and start working on it. When you are finished hook the battery back up.

Ive had the speed sensor replaced on mine, now I have to change the throttle body too! Really appreciated this video and I’m going to attempt to do this myself. I love my Fusion it’s a really decent vehicle, if not for these issues.

@@HappyBocce-jb1nb absolutely the truck in this video is basically bone stock. Stock fuel, stock turbo, etc and it did make a difference. I’ll say though the big difference was when 5-9 custom tunes were ordered with the tuner mm3 we have another video on the channel for that as well if you are wondering how that looks

There was a little bit of cutting . I put the headunit up and measured how much I had to trim . It makes you a little uneasy at first but it’s worth it

Im having this exact same problem with my daughters 2016 2.5 Fusion. The only code tho was the P2111. Im thinking Ill replace the throttle body and see what happens. It has 215,000 miles on it mostly interstate. This is the first real problem I've had with it.

It’s fairly cheap and when you order it online there are usually discount codes . If I wasn’t filming you can probably have it done in less than 10 minutes . They say you can clean them and sometimes that helps but for me it’s not worth the hassle and risk , my wife drives it sometimes and I want it safe for her or me when our child is in the car .

Do you know how to disable the guide line on the actual camera? It comes with a 'Parking Line' wire that is already snipped from factory. I'm trying to disable the camera guide lines and use the head unit lines instead.

It should be just the wire near the handle needs cut to remove the lines on the camera . Then you would have to go into the headunit and select parking lines

@@3guysgarage the wire is already cut the way the harness arrived. I'm reading a review on Amazon that says you may need to connect that wire to the wire right next to it, since they are both open ended wires. I'll try it

@@3guysgarage so I connected the 2 green wires and it eliminated the grid lines from the camera, so now I'm using the grid lines from the head unit instead. It has a better angle for the view so I prefer it over the camera grid lines 🤙

I did take the cat off and the only difference I noticed was it smells more like an old diesel and less propane. Probably a bad description but it’s the best way to describe it

You can delete with a tune alone (BUT ONLY FOR TRACK OFF ROAD USE) and leave much of this installed. As far as high pressure you really need to remove the whole tube and block at turbo. You can leave EGR valve and block that, or add the race pipe.

Yes it’s the 2.5se , it takes 4.5 qts to test drive to get the fluid hot. It should take almost 5 total depending on how much drained out

No I just used a ratchet it definitely took a good amount of strength to loosen the plug for the first time
