I also wore this in high school. It was my favorite! I also wore their meteorites face powder (balls) that smelled just like it. I was so excited to stumble on the new version but was SO DISAPPOINTED.. it had a very funeral flower, scented toilet paper scent to it 😢 it lacked the brightness and tartness in my opinion

I never liked the original black opium or any of the flankers. I sprayed black opium le parfum on a paper strip and didn’t care for it either. Fast forward I pulled the strip out of my purse and it had the most intoxicating fluffy vanilla smell. I decided to go to the store and test it on skin and OMG!!! Why did I waited so long???? Its one of my signatures for this 2024 winter. This season my perfume wardrobe is all about those sexy goth vanillas! Think killian princess, black opium le parfum, Nest vanilla bourbon and Commodity Milk. THIS IS THE SEASON OF YUM 😋

My Grandmother loved NO5 but who cares about the bottle and the box I just find it for older women and it doesn't mix with my body chemistry at all. Didn't like it at yeah old lady vibes. Coco mademoiselle or chance would be my top pics ❤❤❤❤

I sprayed this on a tester strip, and it smelled like old lipstick to me. I'm going to test this on the skin.

I like this perfume but would hate to smell like an old lady

It cannot be a coincidence that all these perfumes are the most popular ones. Maybe some people have bad connotations with situations or people they did not liked, or the smell is all around and they get tired of it, especially when people do not know how to use the perfumes.

I'm smelling not hazelnut, nor lemon, but **amber** and the bass note feels nearly sandlewood in essence of course, that's how it smells with my chemistry. ❤

I feel like there maybe a little nutmeg in there as the spice factor because it’s not quite cinnamon but somewhere around there. It warm and inviting and I find it also a little sensual perfume

It really is beastmode, I love it! I have the refil for this so I’ll have it for years 🤣 I loved the original but found that one poor for lasting. The intense is warmer and more syrupy sweet. And I sometimes get custard with a hint of nutmeg and hints of popcorn. 🍿 🤣🤣
