I mean i did keep goofing and using an item that allowed me to be invaded (albeit unknowingly at the time) also its kinda tbe point of the game to learn the boss movesets to make them easier

BS, you can't be invaded in High Wall, unless you have a friend helping you, even if you are embered. This means that you have someone helping you so your invading protection was lifted, got invaded, immediately embered again and got invaded one more time. Also, you can't be invaded in ER at all, unless there is someone with you. (Assuming you are not TTing)

That means you embered in order to be invaded, for the first playthrough you wouldn't have more than 2 or 3 embers tho But yeah frustrating nonetheless
