Peace...I produced, programmed and arranged the music for this remix. I also performed 100% of the scratching. On the original "Jack The Ripper" demo tape (initially called "Blame It On Me"), LL is rhyming over the same "Ashley's Roachclip" sampled "Jack The Ripper" instrumental that most people are familiar with. The sound quality of the demo wasn't the greatest and the scratching was very basic. For the remix, I was able to separate LL's vocals from the demo and then rebuild a 1988 style of production around him.

It may be a while before I get back around to flippin' another King Sun joint. I have over 30 remixes from different artists that I haven't uploaded yet. "Club Tip" is a good choice, though...it's one of the better executed "hip-house" songs of that era.

@@houston316 Since these remixes are technically bootlegs, I probably won't be putting them on Spotify. Some of the artists that I've remixed have heard and cosigned the remixes that I've uploaded here, though.
@DivineExistenceАй бұрын
@@houston316 All of these remixes have been done using Technic 1200 turntables, Serato (using Stems), a Rane Seventy mixer (for cutting, looping, sampling, triggering, etc.) and a digital recorder for multitracking. However, in general, I typically produce music using a SP-1200.

This mix is dope . I was actually hoping that somebody did remix to the listeners because the original track though I grew up with that. It’s a little bit too dated now but I love this remix, this remix just allowd Rakim rhymes to live once again. With the great Rakim with some of his classics the music is dated on certain tracks like the album cuts, but the rhymes timeless.🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤👑
