This is awesome. I grew up fishing the Pecos. But. recently, every time I go back, I get no action on the main river, nothing like what you experienced.

Nice catch! Which section do you all usually go to? Around the Mora? I’m usually out every Friday morning but stay lower at Dalton on the left side. Browns are starting to hit!

“Raising them right”! Enjoy the moment because they grow up fast. My three boys are now almost 30 years old with their own children but they still go fishing with their father(me) occasionally. Nice video!

Not recommended to use fabric nets especially dry ones to net fish your not planning on eating. In fact you should wet your hands before touching any fish when you don't you remove the slime layer that protects them from getting sick. You should do some more research about proper handling technique for fish your not keeping. Also those waters are protected and only barbless dry flies are allowed. Good luck.

Yes, he has a small tube under fly and a toothpick to keep the fly from slipping too fast.
