For me this sounds a lot like progressive music. The drummer guy is quite good. I also noted the intensive karate moves by the keyboardianist at 05:50.

Hey, I'm a drummer, not a keyboard player and I was wondering, how the Keyboard is switching between all die modes? Is it linked to a "click"?
@JoshZaidDrums3 күн бұрын
He uses a foot pedal to change his patches. All the songs are programmed with the patches he needs, in order...like a set list. He just needs to remember when to change!
@laitaaКүн бұрын
The "all die" mode is a typical act of angry progressive rock keyboard players.

I really like this combo of drums and just another instrument. It really showcases the other instrument other than the drums and shows the complexity of it. I would love to see Mike play it with only Petrucci and then with Myung.

@atyt11Күн бұрын
@@briandavis2885 His iPad is for control and to read music in real time. Jordan went to Juilliard at age 9. AGE 9!!!!! Derrick is really good. Jordan is really on his own level. Kurzweil K2600XS, Korg's Oasys, Muse, Roland V-Synth XT, custom synths and the amazing Korg Kronos. Not sure keyboards can get MORE real.
