Wow.. respect man..your reef bllas really doing great. I wish you could coke to dubai with your project so we can have some sea habitat restoration. We mostly have barren sandy bottom here. Salinity is very high and water temperatures are also high. Do you have any project ongoing in Qatar or any other place in the Gulf ?

Do the concrete (?) balls degrade overtime? If so, how is this affecting the sealife and ocean water?

Can you make your new videos not “for kids” it doesn’t allow commenting and destroys the amount of people the algorithm shows it to

I'd love to see more focus on height and am always surprised at how little consideration is given to habitat as safe housing for everything from microbes to large fish.

What's the longest amount of time you've visited the reef after you've placed them? Do they get covered by sand eventually?

Nice video, some interesting information. Nice to see some video from a couple of reefs on my "to dive" list. The artificial reef we have up here in SLO is difficult to find. So much high relief natural reef nearby, it is completely the opposite from what you are seeing. Once you find the artificial reef you wonder why you passed so much awesome diving to locate it. Also if it is possible to edit your audio, sargo are grunts not croakers 2:13.

Was gonna comment on the Sargo misattribution, thx. I'm a huge fan of artificial reefs. We should be building them en masse for erosion control,, surfing, eco-tourism. fisheries and overall eco health. Why isn't this happening to any significant extent?

Looks Great. I believe that we need something like this in the Santa Monica Bay. I think an area that would be very suited to this is in the region of the old Mile Long Wharf. In those flat sandy areas that has lots of level swaths of area degraded by bottom trawls and sufficiently inside Santa Monica Bay to be protected from most storms. It will build up to become an ideal fishery and hatchery for many species.
