I've not knitted anything since Learnt to crochet, it feels much easier. I always had an issue with dropping stitches while knitting, in crocht that isn't even possible 🙏

When my mom asked me to teach her to work with yarn, she wanted to know what the difference was. I explained it as knit is worked vertically along the grain of the fabric, while crochet is literally a sideways STACK of columns of knits. Once I figured that out, I could count my stitches much more easily.

Next big difference is crochet is double in thickness due to doing one stitch at a time vs knitting is a series of loops

I discovered when I put the sc in the first stitch the row after the star stitch row that I always have 1 stitch too many so I just started to go in to the eye of the star stitch for that row

I never used ten mesh and now I need some ten mesh. I've only used seven mesh all this time. And all of my patterns were stolen. I had over 1000 patterns that came from my mom every year and also from my other family that passed away

I do plastic canvas. I've been doing it every since I was 12 yrs the easy cut out my mom was helping me to do the hard ones. But now I have to learn since my mom passed five yrs and now I'm going to be 52on 12 28 of next month
