Tamale is not the Third city in Ghana.Sekondi-Takoradi is the third not Tamale.Takoradi alone is small compared to Tamale but when you combine Sekondi and Takoradi as Twin cities Takoradi becomes third in Ghana

This is the hidden gem in Ghana. Forget about Kumasi, Accra or any of the big cities. This is the dream place to grow up as a teenager who is ambitious about your future. I grew up here, went to become a School Prefect at Prempeh College, got a scholarship to study at the most prestigious university in the USA, MIT. Earned a bachelors' masters and a doctorate. Became an American citizen and now the executive of a global company. Without Mim, this will never have happened. I owe MIm a lot!!!

Great video! I used to live there. I was told the name means ‘Chief who shot two elephants with only one bullet’. The original name was ‘Kookwasi Village’ which from memory meant ‘under the Cocoa trees’
