Good little tractors I have one . You can put 12volt water pumps on them or a regular water pump with some brain storming it solves the overheating if you have that problem.

What year is it?

This one has been a toy. I don't think it's been worked. This model doesn't have a water pump and will overheat easily. I know because I own this model too.

Mine never overheats.

I probably own the nicest YM1500 anywhere. My John Deer does all the work.

If you don't work it, it will never overheat. It helps if you live in a cold climate.

I've had a YM1500 for years. I use it with a five foot finish mower (not gently) and a four foot brush hog regularly. It never overheats. You shouldn't be running antifreeze in the cooling system at all in the warmer months. If yours is overheating it means that there is a blockage inside somewhere. These things were designed to run tillers all day in rice paddies without overheating. If you don't feel like messing around with figuring out why yours is overheating, Hoye Tractor in Texas sells an aftermarket water pump/kit for this tractor for a few hundred dollars.

A son of his.... I changed the new battery but it’s still not start. Why I can’t turn the key to the left to pre heat the engine? Do i need to press any thing while turning the key to TS to heat the engine?

@@npheevthoj try putting a breaker bar and socket on the crankshaft pulley and see if it will move.this should tell if the motor is locked up or not.try jumper cables.maybe the battery is bad.check all cables on batteryfor cleanand good tight connection.
