Yes it is possible and it did happen when Laurentia was separated by an interior seaway that covered part of Saskatchewan and Alberta during the Cretaceous.

U of S certainly has contributed to a "Tsunami" that destroyed the province over the last 10-15 years.

Its actually kind of strange because it seems to defy our currently accepted history. It almost seems to explain that Pangaea could have taken much less time to break apart (possibly due to impact) than we think. It has been found recently that fossils can be baked in less than 24 hours. So theoretically, a big enough cataclysm could produce enough heat and pressure to fool us into thinking bioarchaeological processes take longer than they do, and possibly even misshape our perception and concept of prehistory (which human origins are a part of) to be inaccurate

Fascinating. I have lived in Saskatchewan my entire life and never knew that we had a tsunami in the prairies a very long time ago.

Always funny to see people that can’t tell us definitive details about history going back to the pyramids, tell us definitive details about the earth going back 500 million years 🤣

I learned how to write in proper English literally reading this man's novel "life of pie" in 2002. (Followed by passing my regional exams with a credit without which i wouldn't have studied BSc Chemistry in Nigeria). I hope I can one day share this story with him. I'm a PhD now and completed a postdoc at usask in 2021. Thank you Mr Yann Martel. 🙏

To sad to see my university turning woke 😢 really wished that the uofs would stay away from such nonsense and irrational arguments. After all it’s a place that’s supposed to teach rationality. Really feeling bad for those girls in the video being manipulated .

Outstanding sister, I knew you would one day teach with love and kindness despite your righteous rage against the Genocide beasts. You have taught me once again to push on despite the evil and darkness surrounding uncovering Debwewin (truth), and reaffirmed that nothing can or will change until we have the courage to acknowledge. Love you and the boys and grandbabies always, I hope one day we will meet again in light.

I used to roam the tunnels on my mini board at 2am, back in 2015 when I could NOT focus on my studies. miss this so much! It was always the best place to clear my head, so many underground lounges with couches and tv's. Sometimes, even spending all night in the tunnels! It was the BEST! Saskatoon is so nice too, Y'all have to check us out!
