I got an M.S.F rank once. Since the cpu reads inputs, you can exploit it for a lot of perfects and high scores.

They did, but it was a bad round round for them. That can happen in this game. Especially with Akuma he has low health. Two bad interactions and he can be K.O.d

No, not this playthrough. I'm not very good at this game. Especially with the Dreamcast controller. I don't even know the conditions for a secret fight. They just happen for me randomly. I just wanted to beat the game on the hardest difficulty without having to continue.

Yeah I wish it would get a remake. Hopefully they can make it like the Arkham series or Spider-Man. A GoW style wouldn't be a bad idea either.

You have to beat certain levels in the tower. If you get past level 50, you'll unlock everyone.

Never lose a round in Arcade until you fight Seth and then watch the entire prologue and epilogue without skipping. 😊

Who do you play with? I've played against Diamond players that are fundamentally better than me. It's crazy how that works. The way the MR system is made, people just one and done most of the time.

Yes sir! He was confirmed in Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stones. He looks like the same Sonny from the original Double Dragon that comes out with Willy at the end. Jeff (Mission 2 Boss) is supposed to be a former friend and training partner of sorts.

Unfortunately, there is only a scanline feature. I would choose the first or second to help soften the pixelation. Hold down the options button to access the settings. It doesn't do much though. It can be rough on the eyes. In my video, I am playing on an actual Gameboy SP cartridge through the retron 5. That has a bunch of visual options.

I had some great times with it. Best Double Dragon ever made in my opinion.

Man! That match was crazy. I think him being overly aggressive backfired. And he dropped his combo at the end. But hey, it happens. What's crazy is, he would've beat my Ryu badly. But my newly acquired Luke was able to hang around and get the "W".

had no idea it was out on series X.. I did a search for Double Dragon and it didnt populate even though the other games did.. I realize its because it lists it as doubledragon (no space). Question.. on series X it says its only 1 player.. but Switch shows it has 2-player.. is that another typo?

@@richardii5989 I don't own this for Switch but on the Xbox series X this is definitely a 2 player game also this is an easy 1000 Gamerscore.

This game is so much fun. The game isn't expensive either. For the best bang for the buck, I would grab a Retron 5, and the cartridge. Some jerk may want to try and charge you an arm and leg for an original nintendo. The Retron 5 has HDMI, can use original controllers, and it upgrades the colors in HD. It also plays Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, and Famicom. Or you can emulate it and play on your phone.

Mikey has the most health and hits the hardest. He's a bit slow. I like how you can run with a button in this game.
