Great set! Love the older TMCC sounds, even the unintelligible crew talk, which they don't do anymore. Those flag details are unique, did not know they did that on those.

Some delicate detail parts that appear to be easily broken off. Even presenter said “not going to mess with it because don’t want to break it”. A metal die cast construction would be a more durable choice. But manufacturer don’t care about active life, only profit & initial sale. Does not run smoothly without side shutter. Well presented but overlooks engine shortcomings.😊 not critical of presentation , that’s good, but engine run side shutter negates detail.😊

I had the PRR F3 ABA set in TMCC. Love the details on the locomotives! If the blue LED gets old to you, you can pick up some amber color ones. I swapped them over, wasnt too bad!

I had a jr the mainboard was going out and the smoke did that but yours might be different.

I feel you know the answer already because you know to much info about the train already. 😅 However If it is still running ok than it is not the motor it is the smoke unit. If it stops make sure to put in 6drops of smoke fluid. If its not moving when you power it up more than 2 times it may be junk. Lol
