You can't save someone from himself. Once a friend no longer respects you, your words fall on deaf ears, I had this happen after 37 years. He started to have increasing meltdowns and blow ups, treating me with disrespect and lack of value for my opinion. Envy leads to strife and confusion (inability to see right from wrong, good from evil and a friend from an enemy). And we are neither rich nor famous, but his life took a bad turn (as did mine) and he failed to make the course corrections necessary, instead looking for a scapegoat to blame and alleviate his conscience from guilt. I made the corrections and this created the envy and this produces strife towards the object of envy creating the confusion of what actually happened and needed to be done to fix the issue. It has been nearly a year now and though we have several methods of online communication (I see him log on daily) he has not once apologized for the last meltdown accusing me of being an *expletive* idiot, he lectured me for 3 hrs (until 3 am and I had work in the morning whereas he was no longer working). I quietly reiterated my position (which he mostly agreed with by the end) but never once expressed regret for the insult to my intelligence and aptitude (this is unresolved disrespect that must be addressed to move forward). He still at the end, after accepting almost all my points, doubled down that I was wrong (confirming the original issue of no respect for discernment). He sent several friends to talk to me about it but never once sent a single message personally, this is evidence he does not regret nor rescind his original defamation. Some have said I should suck it up and try to repair the breach, but once someone has broken down the door of estimation they had for you they must begin he process to repair the rift they themselves created. Any attempt by me would only lend credibility and affirmation to his disdain and censure of my intellectual ability to intelligibly perceive and judge a matter whether large or small. It is my affirmation that I did so with astute and erudite knowledge of the facts and his retaliation was due to his own personal issue with his failures to make a similar elucidation of the matter of contention that arose between us. Friendship not based on respect is merely an association and is founded on unequal principles when it is measured in the length of decades. I do not work for him or with him, I am not his follower or admirer, we are not business "associates" therefore I must with deep regret terminate my communications as a final protestation of the defamation as the only way to regain the lost credibility, albeit unlikely at this juncture. So do not judge Mike to harshly as I am certain his heart is equally broken from their long tenure and mutual appreciation, but acting in a slavish manner to another does not create a harmonious restoration of that which was lost. Friendship is a bridge built between to opposite sides, once the bridge is burned it must be rebuilt in the same manner with the arsonist making the first act to reconstruct it. I am not saying I know for sure that Frank was the one that sabotaged their friendship, it could be a third party as was suggested, but once the damage is done the time and energy to begin the process of recreating the broken edifice can be daunting and result in despair. Frank said Mike made no attempt at reconciliation, but as we are not privy to the process that created or destroyed this relationship neither should we make a value judgement. If I hear my friend is now sick and in hospital due to his obvious slide into self destructive behaviours I would not feel compelled to reach out to him unless he first sought to restore the lost civility that he by his own hand removed. Only then would the way be open for me to return with dignity and equality, it was his fit of pique that created the divide, and it was also his refusal to respond with any sorrow, that he did so with such fervence. I hope my lengthy and personal story is a warning, and also an appeal, to others who might face such divisions that can be permanent. No matter how long, or equitable, a deep seated companionship can be dislodged by a concerted effort of envy and strife.

ACTUALLY Kulp was arrogant, hated men, and was argumentative in interviews. They clashed because he was a far greater talent than her and she hated men in general. She was a supporting bland character with an exaggerated view of her own importance. She achieved nothing like Buddy did. A petty nasty person.

Here we go again. The same headline for the last few months. Tom Selleck did not step away. Blue Bloods ended with Season 14 on Fri, Dec 13, 2024. Not again the story about his life. Everyone I know and most of his fans have already read his book or listened to the Audio CD. The same story at least twice a day. This story has been copied over 20 times by you and other creators. Tom hasn't said goodbye yet.
