Paulas husband did not help her situation...i couldnt do what she did but i experienced the "blues" for about an hour with each child....these were the most terrifying and horrible hours of my life....uncharacteristicallyi felt doomed.... I even pitied my baby so much i didbt think they should live this horrible life on earth....fortunately i knew about baby blues and it didnt last long....i was a lucky one...within an hour i was back to normal and felt so relieved ...this is an HOUR of it i cant imagine doing this for months or weeks! So...i do have SOME understanding...

Your a liar lady. You can lie directly or you can lie by omission. You do both. "She harmed her two children"? A child can survive being harmed, they can't survive being MURDERED. If Paula Sims is your definition of a wonderful woman , than you had some hell of a immoral upbringing . The baby blues is not a defense for MURDERING YOUR BABIES, TWICE. Misdirected love is disgusting as are carol and paula. I got a idea carol, why don't you just commit a crime so you can be with your good friend Paula.

Melanie was such a sweet person to know, and so was her mom Carol. It's so sad knowing her daughter will never get to know what a humble beautiful person her mom was. I can only wish the best for the rest of the family.

Carol - Thanks for speaking out about Postpartum Psychosis. It's hard for those who have not experienced it to understand. There are a group of women, including myself, who experienced postpartum psychosis and are trying to make a difference.
