The AI narration butchering some words was off-putting, but the story was entertaining.

Yes Toriyama has said Dragonball was inspired by journey to the west and Goku is Sun Wukong. Son Goku is Sun Wukong in Japanese. If you watch the show you will see all the concepts of JTTW represented in each dragon ball series. If you look at the early drafts of Goku he looks like the monkey king.

So what if he was "influenced "or "inspired " or even stole the idea...he created (DB) (DBZ) and look what has come out of that I don't even think he got the idea from this...although it's very similar I think it's two different stories and dragonball in my opinion is even better than that old legend and if he did get inspired by this story I think the dragonball adaptation is way better

why was the sun goddess amaterasu hiding though? and at the same time it really was hilarious 😂😂 that even the other god's was laughing.
@hinamifueguchi421Ай бұрын
Her and her brother had a competition on who can make the most kami. Susanoo created 5 while amaterasu made three. Depending on which ones you believe in (either susanoo winning or amaterasu) kinda goes down the same, which led to one of Amaterasu's weavers dying. Which made Amaterasu sad, which represents grief and hide in a cave. Which led to that.

the only thing that threw me about this specific version of the story is that if the Monkey King could defeat n stand head to head with the Gods... why would he take so long just to defeat an earthly ogre... other than that, always loved this tale #respectfully

I always thought that Greek travelers came back to Greece with stories of a horrific tale of seeing their first black woman with locks and that's why they thought she was a monster with snakes hair. Serious, no cap, I'm not being funny or nothing like that.
@amalakram87552 ай бұрын
i believe locking became popular with rastafarism much later than that, but africa did have braids tho

Medusa and her sisters where born gorgons in Greek mythology, a later roman writer wrote this version centuries later, hell Athena killed almost the entire Greek army that she previously sides with against her family because a greek SA'd one of Apollo's priestesses who sought refuge in her temple, during the Trojan war, do better

Medusa was r*ped by Poseidon and for that, Athena punished her. What are you saying about a controversial encounter? Just say it as it is.
@EMTedroni2 ай бұрын
Another interpretation is that Medusa wasn't a willing participant but Poseidon overpowered her in Athena's tmple. Poseidon and Athena had a long-running rivalry, since Athena won the patronage of Athens which Poseidon wanted. When he lost, Poseidon threw a fit and hit Athens with a huge storm. The city survived via Athena's protection. Poseidon wanted to take something from Athena, perhaps in retaliation for her victories. Athena, recognizing that Medusa was a victim of assault, transformed Medusa so that she would not be assaulted again, and could defend herself from those who might attack her for other reasons. That leaves the Perseus problem: why did Athena send Perseus to kill Medusa? Perhaps because in transforming Medusa, Athena trapped her in isolation from humans. Medusa was considered a Gorgon, but she wasn't immortal like the other Gorgons. Medusa was a human trapped in a monstrous body, surrounded by monsters, getting older and suffering those ever-increasing pains on top of everything that had already happened, but unable to die from old age and unable to be killed by anyone without divine assistance.

Well that’s an interesting interpretation I’ve never heard of before until now, definitely a lot more recent, and I disregard it as being anything other than someone trying to find women as victims and that they can’t be aggressors
