If the fight happens in an enclosed area, the Centaur's mobility and long range weaponry is useless. If the fight happens in an open field the Centaur has the advantage. It also depends on which one is smarter and more cunning

MINOTAUR FOR SURE!!!! some people say it's going to be the centaur because of its crossbow. they clearly don't know what these creatures rlly are. I personally think it would be the MINOTAUR due to its LARGE size and it's Strength. & Random .Zabrak I agree with you a MINOTAUR has a complete focus when it comes to killing something it's Half bull !!!! A Minotaur is more animal than human it's wilder and more aggressive. A centaur is the opposite. respectfully I disagree, a minotaur could absorb that arrow and what does the centaur have then? If the minotaur could minimize the use of that cross bow and use their tridents or horns to catch the centaur off guard, he could finish him off. Thats how the battle would go in my head...

so in most of the case there wouldn't be any dead in this fight because the rate to cause a fatal wound on a charging minotaur is so low and the centaur is faster than the minotaur. and because the minotaur has a bull's mind so he don't care killing or not the foe because this is not a prey and he don't need to kill to survive and need only to make the foe run away. So even if the minotaur is wounded the centaur has run away and so the winner is the minotaur

seriously have you ever tried to shot with a crossbow riding an horse?!!! and even if the centaur hit remember a minotaur is as strong as a bull just look at some video about bullfighting or just buffalo hunting and you will understand that even if the minotaur is fatally wounded by some very lucky hit, the centaur would be just destroy by the unstoppable rush. Then the centaur can run away like a pussy but the minotaur will just forget the fleeing foe and the fight would end

the centaur cannot reload his crossbow while running away because this is a crossbow and reloading a crossbow is so annoying even when you don't move so the centaur can shot him maybe once or twice this would never be sufficient to kill a minotaur. the minotaur don't have ranged weapon but he can still throw his trident like a javelin this isn't too accurate but then don't forget that the minotaur don't need the trident so he can even just throw it as a distraction to gain time

I would go with the centaur Reasons: 1)The crossbow gives good distance and range. 2)Horses run fast right so when the Minotaur is going to attack the Centaur,the Centaur can run away fast cos its half horse half human though the horse body is an advantage to the Centaur
