Hi David, I went out off the Moorabbee Boat Ramp a week ago with a sounder attached to my Hobie Pro angler 12 and trolled a range of lures for ~ 2 hours. Lots of fish between 2-5m but only 1 x bite and 1 x hookup and loss. Still, it was good to get out on the water Cheers, DOC.

@@raffaelescarfo7254 not a problem man, the rods from aliexpress. On a five gram head I can get at least 25m with a cast. The rod isn't to bad but if you do hook a big fish, the line does load onto the blank. But so far I've been super happy with it. Specially when its costing me pretty much nothing.

Although you can release them the guide strongly recommends that you don't. I never do. I use the smaller ones as bait for the bigger ones. They are voracious cannibals. @@mootazz

Try again on the incoming, they do move too. Early morning before the baitos get there and week day is your best friend. Anything from Friday to Sunday, forget about it!

I found that out going was far better, specially when it was washing the lure into the Bream's face. Best bet end of incoming to out going.

Hey David great session! Alot of your hook ups are when you wind in. Is that because you’re winding slack and they’re already on or are you working the lure faster? Ive only ever caught them on a slow retrieve, thanks

@JOHNNEYGOGGLES Great question! A bit more slack will allow the fish not to feel you or the weight of your line. That bow really helps when you watch them eat or run with the lure in a different direction. 🙌🏾
