Hi. Better to enter at deep water on foots and then to enter kayak. Do not go close to the cliff, wash out. Thank you for the moovie.

👍👍👍 .. posted 13 years ago and it popped up on my feed this morning. I have it's cousin, the Optimus 8R Hunter (same burner mechanism) .. bought new in the 70's and still in use. Autumn in just around the corner and it is definitely going to come back out of the cupboard 😊.

These stoves are worth the money and having one in your kit. Few things available for purchase these days will last generations and can be repaired like this stove (similar to the original Coleman suitcase style stoves).

I could not agree with you more. I have it's cousin, the Optimus 8R Hunter (same burner mechanism). Bought new in the 70's and still in use. Maintenance? Replacing the Graphite Seal in the Burner Control Valve Stuffing Box about 15 years ago and two years back, the Fuel Cap Gasket.

I keep thinking I’ll see them progress through the channel, but I’m thinking that this was a play/practice session rather than a trip.

Great Play Spot! You got rocks, current, waves, . . . What more could you ask for? Cheers from an ex-storm paddler in America's Mid-Atlantic region (Dullsvile, LoL!)

In the meanwhile I have been paddling there too. I started in The Netherlands and paddled solo to Spain. The passage by Point du Raz was quite impressive to do on my own and with a fully loaded kayak! My journey is also on KZbin, by the way. I would love to go back to Point du Raz, but this time with a couple of friends, just to enjoy the movements..

I got my Xplore S in June '09, when they were still made in Finland. I only had a rotomolded sea kayak for 10 years prior to that. Everything on the Tiderace still works and looks great after 13 years of coastal kayaking from Delaware to Maine. Fine boat.

Music makes it seem like the queuing area for a mildly horror themed ride called Dracula's Cottage, in an English theme park that was once a small zoo but started adding some gentle rides in the 1980s.
