Omggg I really want the Indo variant! His face looks so much better imo, I actually ended up repainting mine because I thought his eyes were too close together.

Thanks! You have both, nice! Yeah the hair type used for her is weird. It can be nice and soft at times but it depends. Her hair type is one of the most frustrating to work with.

❤️ To this day, I've successfully restored 3 of the (2015) Wave 1 Ghoulia Yelps 🍒 and even have an entire outfit for a 4th Ghoulia 🍒 ready. If you look at the lipstick color on the 2015 Ghoulia 🍒, you will notice it's a darker red color as well as darker eyeshadow. The 2011 Ghoulia 🍒 has lighter eyebrows. ALL Ghoulia 🍒 are pretty (had to throw my opinion in)! Poor Ghoulia 🍒 was kinda like the "underdog" of the series, wasn't she? She used her brain power to save the school (how many times?) , yet the other ghouls would be credited (unless they said "actually it was Ghoulia 🍒 that did it") .

3??? Wow you must have gotten lucky. She was one of the main ghouls that was the hardest for me to get second hand. They are all pretty yes! It's pretty fascinating to see the differences. I have a dedicated post on my flickr about the differences. Yes she is under represented in the series but it's nice she played such an important part as a character and helped so much.

@@SereneGreenPixz - had to bite the bullet, and buy my last 2 as nudes. Trying to find all her stuff was difficult - not impossible, just difficult. Her necklace was the hardest thing of all, but they are out there.

+GUYS I FORGOT TO MENTION+ Ghoulia Yelps dolls are known to have kanekalon hair which is a soft sometimes dryer textured hair fiber(Spectra comes to mind as well). You have to be careful when boil washing the hair, you CAN'T let it just SIT in boiling water or it will get frizzy. Brush/comb the hair every minute or so to make sure it stays detangled and straight! I can't believe I forgot to mention that >·>

Such a pleasant video :) I've just restored my first doll in need of help, signature Operetta. She's complete, minus her proper stand, but that's fine! She had some awful seepage but I think i've fixed majority of the problem. In the process I did bend those little bits poking out on her neck peg, and I wasn't sure if that was bad or not! Glad to know you can just file those down :). Thank you for another entertaining and informative video. Much love!

Ahh nice, signature Operetta!?! Also shes your first! Wow, Her design is spectacular, really such a great doll. Luckily she comes with a standard black monster high stand so it shouldn't be hard to get your hands on. Oh yes, the glue seepage is so much work and the neck peg is frustrating when popping the head off, I always feel it's creasing and about to snap definitely taper those side pegs. @@SereneGreenPixz Yea! So far I have 2 other original releases, signature Spectra and Cleo, but they don't seem to have any seepage (and that relieves me, knowing Spectra uses Kanekalon). As a whole it was a calming process! Operetta has a particularly gravity defying hairstyle, but once I got past that it was smooth sailing :).

@@superstar4662 LOL! You got your hands on a Cleo then! Nice! I remember you saying you were looking for her. Wow, I am actually surprised your cleo doesn't have glue issues. Yeah operetta was sporting a pretty intense style so shes got glue and hair gel hah. Good luck restoring friend! 💚

Fantastic! I'm having my Nefera basic in a couple of days. Want to make her hair better, because she's used. Is it a good idea to use boiled water? Cause I afraid that lurex would be damaged.

Oohh nice! She is a really pretty doll. Yes she is totally fine to use boiled water on. Not sure what you mean "lurex"? All if not most doll hair is boiled water safe. The only thing is dolls with "kanekalon" hair fibers, you have to be more careful with in boiled water. Nefera doesn't have kanekalon hair so you shouldn't have to worry. Just be careful because boil washing can also loosen the glue which is a whole other issue in itself. Also using oxi clean can mess up her tinsel so I wouldn't really suggest that. Let know if you have any other questions, Have fun restoring her!

Looooved watching this. Just bought a new in box basic Spectra and wanted to see the overall cleaning process, at least for the hair. All of your Cleos/Deuces ended up looking amazing! They're high on my list of dolls to get but they're just so expensive </3 haven't seen any good deals lately. Much love from OH :)

Yeah, they are pricey these days. I sometimes see some pop up for decent prices but yeah the market this year, man has it risen so much for monster high dolls. I got these over the course of the past couple years so I did get some for good deals.

@@SereneGreenPixz Yeah, I have plans to take her out of box! Seems redundant to buy her that way but I also display their boxes with their character art front-facing. I never had her growing up and she was always a favorite of mine, so I'm just trying to fulfill something in me haha. I'll hold out on buying anything for Cleo though because the likelihood of her getting a Creeproduction is very high, so I might just try completing a Deuce for now :) I do miss him though so it'll be worth it.

@@superstar4662 oh nice! I can agree but it's your money, whatever feels right. I get it though, sometimes you want a doll complete with the box and all the visuals. I am the same way, I love the detail and the art on the boxes. Especially if it's a doll you've been wanting for so long you want it brand new. I have been hearing talk on cleos creeproduction too. I keep manifesting Cleo, deuce, ghoulia, and holt will be like a 2nd creeproduction release or something.

I would love boy dolls if they weren't just boring jock who are boyfriend for the girls. Loved the Bratz boyz, and Shadow High Ash seems somewhat good

I agree but I think there still could be a place for jock guys but just give them more character and depth. I just think they need more developed story lines. But I would agree and say I would like to see more tropes than just a jock boy. I think jackson jekyll was a good example of stepping away from that. Bratz boyz were pretty good and I'm not too into the rainbow high franchise but Ash does seem like a good styled boy doll, I don't know his character though. Monster high guys fashion though to me are so creative and unique for males that's why I like them over others.
