What about Instagram comments? For example, the official account upload their gif on giphy without tags. then how can I find that specific gif on Instagram? I tried to copy link or share it but didnt work. Plz let me know
@TheCreativeStudio123 күн бұрын
@@estherko3086 I believe you can add the gif to the comment by selecting the square smiley icon in the comment box and then select gif and then in the search bar type is @ and then your username and your images should pop up. If not it’s because GIPHY is still requiring verification to be in their 3rd party functions like on Instagram.

Thanks this is super helpful 🙂 would you recommend having multiple colourways of one design on a sell sheet? Or show the mockup in a different colourway ? I like a desing i created in multiple colourways and want to include them 😊
@TheCreativeStudio12 ай бұрын
@@oaktree2254 thanks so much and glad it was helpful - as for your question - I think it’s really up to you but I would say though it might make sense to showcase the multiple colorways on the same page then maybe do a separate page similar to my example showing your fave colorway with the mock ups.

From all the affinity line for the iPad… if you could pick only one software for digital planner for creating which one would you choose?
@TheCreativeStudio14 ай бұрын
Honestly, with the deals they often have, I would always suggest getting at least affinity publisher and affinity designer. It also depends on what you are doing - if you only plan to make planners, then affinity publisher is your go to. If you want to Make stickers, than Affinity Designer should be your option! Hope that helps!

One more question iPad or the Mac version? Or it’s personal preference?
@TheCreativeStudio14 ай бұрын
@@ktnguyen85able I would say if you can afford to have both versions, grab them up as it makes it easy for you to work between the desktop and on the go on the iPad. This video is incredibly useful! Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I wish there was an easier way to do things as this is still a very complex process, but you’ve provided one of the best solutions for creating half drop repeat patterns on the iPad currently. Hopefully the apps continue to make the process of making half drop seamless repeat patterns easier for all of us in the near future. Thank you for sharing this!

Hi there! Made this on the desktop version 1 so the interfaces are quite different which might make it difficult. I’ll likely create an updated version in the future / but not very soon. I would also suggest desktop though since glyphs is a desktop app / but if you’re looking for an accessible way to do this using your iPad - the ifontmaker app is a fantastic and simple option!

@TheCreativeStudio17 ай бұрын
Hi Kim - I don’t have a course for the desktop version yet but I’ll add it to my list of KZbin videos / it’s essentially the same process though. You will scan your artwork and then use the “remove white background” in your filters and isolate your motifs by cutting them Out after using the lasso tool. Then you can build your pattern using the affine filter. I’ll share links to two helpful tutorials I have on KZbin that show you how to do this - first one for removing the white: similar process on the desktop as is on the iPad that I show here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5nFhod9m52EeZIsi=H_PaOaJne_JakPrU And to create a pattern in affinity photo on iPad is essentially the same as on the desktop but your affine filter is in the top main menu on desktop. Your transform studio is still to the right on the desktop though. Hope that helps - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGHIo6FpitKeqNksi=vTmxPlLE8BkfUurZ

What’s the benefits between half drop and full drop pattern?
@TheCreativeStudio17 ай бұрын
Hi there! I shared some comments on this in the video, but essentially half drops help to "hide" where your repeat starts and ends a bit better. It's also helpful to know different types of designs to include in your design arsenal - half drop, brick, tossed, diamond are just a few! I share some more complex designs in my newest class on this topic, hope its helpful if you check it out - skl.sh/3FS2tH7

If you are designing for a specific item like fabric, how many repeats do you need to provide? Do you need to have the equivalent of the full width of the fabric or wallpaper, etc.?
@TheCreativeStudio18 ай бұрын
Hi there! You’ll need to ask your manufacturer what their requirements are but essentially you would just send your repeat tile - for example if you created a 4000x4000 file you would send that completed exported jpeg or PNG. For a place like spoonflower - it’s as simple as uploading that final tile. Some manufacturers work the same but it’s always safer to ask them what their file requirements are first. Hope that helps!

This is so helpful for starting my first few collections❤ how many colors do you suggest for a color pallete per collection??
@TheCreativeStudio18 ай бұрын
Personally, I think starting with a limited color palette can be helpful in keeping your focus on completing the project. 5 colors in a palette that you can use and repeat throughout your entire collection will create a cohesive look. Just make sure your colors have enough contrast between them so that your motifs don't get muddy or blend into your backgrounds. You can always increase the number of colors in your palettes as you get more used to designing, but limited palettes are a great place to start and sticking with 5 should give you a good enough variety. If you really want to challenge yourself try working with a 3 color palette and see what you can create! Thanks for watching. --Jen
