Good effort man, I just started riding after 15 yrs and missed the gobbler but got to experience the pumpkin run the weekend before in Salem. Smooth and steady, see ya on the track sometime

The video doesn't do it justice. It's a pretty steep hill with large loose rocks. It was a great track though.

My first gate drop I was in 1st gear cuz that’s what my dad told me to do, bike shot out from under me lol. Pro tip, don’t watch your own gate, look left or right towards the box, it’s subtle but those gates closest to the box will always drop first.

My 1st gate drop I wheelied and was dead last. I passed 1st place on the last lap for the win. 2nd moto I scooted up on the tank pulled the hole shot and got another win. 1st overall I was 20 years old.next race day I got the hole shot and looped it on the doubles. that mx for ya. Loved it. That was back in 1979

@@whiskey_throttle_racing7461 I'm still trying to figure it out exactly but it looks like the hydraulic tensioner failed and it skipped timing. Also the top end got really hot and started melting plastic. I was worried that it initially sucked in water but the air filter and intake are clean

Its open year round, there is 6-8 miles of single track plus a easy MX track. fun for a day. I think its $20 for a Day ride or $100 for an yearly membership

@@CurtisWaites Yes and no. If you use the rear brake a lot you just have to remember to clutch it and keep the rpms up
