Oh no, that final shot about return to Maria in death is so sad because Shadow is immortal and as the ultimate lifeform, he's strong enough that it would never happen... unless he wanted to 😭 Unrelated but it makes me think of Twilight Sparkle's situation, lol. Angsty crossover AU featuring powerful immortal magic users pairing up for revenge after their friends pass on, anyone?

I am literally sooooo happy that I clicked on this video and even more happy that I read the Fanfic story behind this!!! I would have to say that the story was amazing (I literally finished it in less than a day 😅) I want to just read it over and over again from how many times I was giggling from how cute it was at times and from how tear jerking some scenes were as well, good luck in your creative journey!!!! :D

I actually just finished reading the 10 chapters in your other Fanfic Earworm and idk if this sounds weird but reading your stories about those silly gay hedgehogs has filled me with so much inspiration for my own stories and I just wanted to say thank you even though giving me inspiration was definitely not your first intention 😭 I actually want to be an author and artist for my own graphic novels and even if your writing isn’t considered professional, i was still really inspired and again, wanted to say thank you for writing these stories :)

I'm glad you enjoy my artwork, but I am not the fan fiction author! that is TrenchcoatGecko! I feel the same way about the stories they've written, their writing has definitely inspired me a lot as well, hence this animatic! I hope your creating goes well too, good luck with your graphic novel!!

One thing that this animatic and the movie capture and make abundantly clear that I love is that for as much as shadow presents as an edgy guy who’s wise beyond his years, he’s a /kid/, one who was born in a lab, raised as a thing to be tested and studied, never had a friend until Maria who let him live as a child should, and without her he’s lost, devastated and left only with his anger because he no longer has the only one who ever saw him as a person, not an alien, not a experiment, not a weapon, but a fellow child in need of a friend.

shadow will never get to see maria again in afterlife bc he is the Ultimate Lifeform and is thus immortal and cannot die so he will never enter afterlife. even if the human race dies out or earth explodes he will live forever in solitude :D
