This is one big church. You could spend a couple of hours exploring the Interieur. A great video accompanied by equally great music. Well done old chap 🐱

Nice one 😎 Looks like the roof needs another coat now 😬 I was in Hambridge during the big floods, watched the water come round the back of us till we were nearly surrounded. I've got a slideshow video on my countryside channel 🙂

@@IrishMac093 Excellent Mac 😎 I've still got a couple of shots I took looking down from the roof. It was only coating the tower roof with bitumen as far as I remember, although we might have done some mortar repairs on the Nave windows 🙂

The large cross with steps is a preaching cross ,where outside services were held in good weather .it was quite common to do this .lots of old churches have them

A fine castle, steeped in history and splendidly filmed. Sad it was damaged after the English Civil War. It must have been quite an upmarket building.😺

This is a church in the Benefice of the Bride Valley and Chesil Churches. (I'm the admin for this group of churches!) Long Bredy has a wonderful traditional of hospitality and warmth as a village and community and we are so pleased you were able to visit this special little church set in wonderful surroundings! This church is in the Bride Valley and Chesil Benefice (I'm the admin) - and it is a really special place with incredible views! Glad you had a nice day for your visit. For over 20 plus years the beach was removed by the council, the beach from West bay to freshwater was covered with 10 to 20mm shingle but now its just stone
