Do you have a video made in aker for hyperbaric test in the last 2 years? If bot mistaken..as far as I remember under the supervision of mr zakaria. Last time bv also involve in the video making.

Another nice and informative video from the MIR valves team. Nice to see (and hear) the inspection being made with 3D measurements, allowing not only linear measurements, but a much more comprehensive Metrologic tool. Regarding the solution implemented to test the hyperbaric features, I already used that while in Petrobras, specially for a larger valve that could not fit in the manufacturer’s hyperbaric chamber. This solution is also a reasonable alternative solution for shallow-water applications, where the forged body is already very robust (high stiffness) and practically would not deform due to external hydrostatic; so, testing sealing ports as closures and stem areas are the most prone to eventually fail and MIR presented this well. Thank you for sharing and congrats to MIR team.

This is an example of a nice project, integrating an adequate valve design for shallow-water Subsea applications with a modern way to provide solar powered autonomous electro-hydraulic power, control and telecommunication to the operator and end-user. The video also was very informative, being useful to viewers in general, but also providing to specialists and SMEs some hints of solutions chosen. After about 1 year of its conclusion, it would be nice to see a follow-up video with the lessons learnt and improvements eventually implemented. Congrats to the MIR Valves’ team and its CEO, Mr. Stasi Prandalos, for sharing this nice achievement!

What kind of sealing type of this valve ? Is it fully metal seated?

Kudos to Mir Valve and its founder Mr Stasi Prandalos for the innovation driving customer service and support. Not common to see an ODM supplier pushing its boundary in interfacing with third party complex components and provide a full integrated system to their Clients.

All credits for this companies stellar capabilities go to Mr Stasi. In my dealings with the Mir Valve as its legal counsel and with its CEO Mr Stasi I have found that the company has been built from bottom up on outstanding world class corporate principles and governance led by Mr Stasi himself.I believe this company has what it takes to reach great heights.
