neither one replaces the other, both versions are on the same album, the nelle hopper mix version was more popular because it was used more in movies due to its fuller sound, it became very popular because of a movie in particular that I don't remember

Si, es la primera versión de la canción. Luego se relanzó con la Neelle Hooper edit que fue la que sonó en todos lados. La reedición que hizo neelle hooper tiene unos suliles arreglos en la batería y un Sampler que suena todo el tiempo: "a one, two, a one, two".
