Nice! I like making custom Sith Lords. I used a Figrin Dan head on a Knights of Ren figure for my Darth Tenebrous. Simple head swap. I made his unnamed Twilek master with a Bib Fortuna head on an Eternals figure. Then I made a Mon Calamari Sit lord with Admiral Akbar and Bib Fortuna;s robes.

The best improvement would be an entirely new head with a removable hat. This is why the Figuarts Indy is far superior, but also a lot more expensive. Hopefully I'll eventually find one for a decent price. That being said, I think Hasbro did a good job with the other figures in the Adventure Series for Raiders.

The Falcon classified figure could make an alright base body - most of the marines squad from Aliens have short sleeves, and he has rolled up sleeves with bare arm. His combat webbing could be converted into a decent starting point for a chest armour set too

Thank you for the kind words! Gridiron does have a premium price tag, but they do top notch work. I had the chance to tour their workshop as they operate in my hometown, and they are the nicest people!

Great job. Action Force for the win. The are the figures for customizing and kitbashing. Bobby left everyone behind when he made all his figures interchangeable with each other. I have got multiples of all his figures to kit bash and make multiple sub teams. Good times. Have a good day brother.

Yeah I thought this figure was way over priced compared to the Hoth rebel troopers. You got more for less and storage for the extra head sculpt. I did pick up a second one that was marked down to about $23 on Amazon that came today. Good ole May the 4th be with you sale. Great review and have a good day sir.

Do you know if the arm/elbow joints on this would work with an Inquisitors joint? I want to give one a robotic arm lol

Mileage might vary by Inquisitor figure as I think they all have slightly different sizes. Replacing a hand might end up easier than replacing a whole arm.

Thanks! I'd be a big fan of that. The 501st pack feels a lot like this as well (review to come), and I can see lots of potential for Jedi/Clone, P1/P2, Commander/Trooper, or Squad building releases in this format.

Can you tell which clone mold the Mace forearms are from? I have several Mace figures and would just make this if I can!

I believe these are new/unique to Mace. The elbow joint is actually robed and only the wrist portion is covered with the Clone armor

@@Shakes_The_Clone - No problem! Another template you could follow is the Target Exclusive Clone Wars Obi Wan which uses an entire Clone arm. It might not be the most accurate, but it makes for easier swaps/customization!

I think the licensing costs is the big factor. Also since Hasbro has full control of the IP they have a lot more freedom to include the details they want.

At the end of the day, I agree this is what it comes down to. That said, I feel like initial Black Series releases were a bit more generous as early releases like Darth Maul or Han Solo came loaded out with things like alternate heads/hands. Now, any basic figure with anything more than their standard blaster/saber feels like we are being spoiled.

Nice! I'm a big OT fan as I had a lot of these sets as Micro Machines when I was a kid. I tend to stick to just those three movies, but Jazwares has also released some solid CW era stuff as well!

I collect both Hasbro GI joe and Black Series. I wish that their six inch scale was consistent across brands since the black series seems to run very small compared to their marvel legends or GI joe

For sure. It's especially apparent when you have a shorter character like Leia who almost looks like she's a different scale when compared to an average-sized Joe.

Agreed. I feel like Marvel Legends and GI Joe Classified scale well together, closer to 7 inch. Black Series is more 6 inch

Total Noob question here: I live in a town with 2 walmarts and neither of them sell G.I. Joe's at all, so what am I missing with these "WM exclusive" offerings?

I recommend checking out ActionFigure411. They compile image galleries and details for many major action figure lines. In the GI Joe section, you'll be able to see all the figures offered exclusively at Walmart. Many of them are figures released more widely but now with a unique paint scheme, but Walmart has also been the exclusive retailer for the Nightforce sub-line which includes Big Ben here as well as some other really solid figures.

Note: I didn't realize this until after recording footage, but the Interceptor has a small panel on the back of the cockpit that opens up. It doesn't serve a functional purpose, but you get to see the inner components of the ship which is pretty cool.

Nice! I'll have a review of the Interceptor here soon, but I'm still on the hunt for the B-Wing! It feels like this line is one of the harder ones to track down, but once you get them in hand, they are really great.

Apologies, but I don't. Syndicate Customs does some great work, but they are AUS based, so you'd likely need a bigger order to justify the shipping. That said, if you do take things on yourself, take it nice and slow while remembering that multiple thin layers is the best way to get vibrant colors without paint streaking/glopping.

Appreciate it. Looking at paints now, do I stick with the citadel “base” paint? Or do I need the the “layer”, and “dry” as well?

@@adefoe6552 I'd recommend just the base. Layer and dry paints are often used in miniature painting (like War Hammer 40K) as they allow you to highlight raised areas and emphasize specific details. For headsculpts like this, a base layer is often enough, especially for a sculpt like Ghost who doesn't have many distinctive facial features like eyes, a nose, scars, etc.

I did see him and the Pyke Soldier at Target this past week, so there's still a decent chance of finding him at retail. This wave (Tusken, Pyke, Glavis Mando, and Cad Bane) are all double packed to make a set of 8 that are sent to retailers, so I think he'll be a bit more plentiful once Target/Walmart start getting more on shelves.

@@star_wars_showcase I prefer a “traffic cone” like Dark Rey over ep4 Leia or that awful Holdo any day 😆. I was SO excited to get a Laura Dern figure and SO let down when I did! I tried all sorts of sh*t with teeny little safety pins to make that dress look somewhat form fitting. I failed.

I feel the same way on both counts! I think there's apprehension about producing controversial figures in this line (Nazis, Mola Ram, etc.), which I totally understand, but the line feels a bit incomplete without them. Crystal Skull also got robbed as a Mutt and Spalko would have been great to get!

I don't think Hasbro needs to further improve on Mando...the upcoming Mines of Mandalore is a step back IMO unless they change something drastic from the rendered images that were already released...but Hasbro being the farm that likes to milk the Star Wars cow will find a way...Mando with Darksaber burn damage on leg or something...🤷🏾♂️
