Get some cards or fliers made up and go to Apartment complexes, also condo communities that have an office. Speak to the manager and explain what you do. Ask if you can leave cards and fliers. Also storage facilities same way. Talk to the manager. If folks are moving themselves they may need help putting furniture back together or taking apart. Always 1 flat price to the customer. I am from Michigan originally and I had a moving business their. For this work I would be 35 to 45 per hour plus your travel time to and back home. Set your pricing like a mechanic. 1 hour lets say for a dining table plus your travel. Say your round trip is an hour. So 70 to 90 bucks. You just have to feel that out and be comfortable with the price for the customer and yourself. I hope this helps. I wish you much success.
