Oh my God, that was the perfect performance of that song. I’ve never seen anyone do quite that with it. The end was so real. There’s no replacement for Ellen Green, but this is its own new thing. Blown away.

Are you watching Tammy Blanchard? Less is more. This is how it should be done. Lots of nuances & variations in tone, definitely not continuous shouting. Definitely the best version I have ever heard.

I honestly do not like Audrey being portrayed as dumb and frail. She gave elegance and dignity to the role, huge props to her.

Listening to Joy always makes me think of a dear friend of mine that passed about a year ago. Like Audry she didn't think she deserved or could ever find the love of a good person. But she met him! A truly remarkable man who loved her unconditionally. She found him in her "somewhere that's green" when she decided to follow her dreams and move to Washington state. He proposed Christmas day and she died New Year Eve. My heart is absolutely broken without her.
