Great video and all but why are you going so fast when doing algorithms? Some of us don’t know how to read algorithms and we’re trying to follow up even at 0.25 speed but, because of your random movements, we don’t know what you just did. I’m just saying you should slow down a bit; it’s not a race. That’s all.

What if you're basically a beginner (I know it's an expensive cube for a beginner but let's ignore the price). Does learning on this cube force you to learn to be better with turning?

You actually went pretty deep on those topics, like as a cuber myself there are some things i wouldnt even think to bring up, like the difficulty in nxns not increasing, and dismantling the myth of rubiks being the only good brand Id like to bring up some things as well tho Algorithms are established sets of moves, but its possible to come up with them. The easiest way to do so is by unsolving some pieces (normally a pair of a corner and an edge), and solving it in a different way, which should change the orientation and permutation of some pieces. The most clear example of this is the sune (R U R' U R U2 R'), which unsolves a pair, moves it 90° and then solves it again, which changes the orientation of some corners and the permutation of some edges The reason the 2-move alg works on any position it leaves the cube at is because any set of moves cycles through some different combinations, including the solved state. I dont know the reason why that is, but i know its how the devils algorithm (aka the one algorithm to solve the whole cube) works, the only difference it has with the 2-move alg is that instead of cycling through 126 combinations it cycles through all 43 quintillion possible states The reason why i got into cubing (which may be one of the reasons its so popular) is because you can clearly see the product of your work, you go from random colors in random patterns to those colors being nicely organized, which feels very gratifying once pulled off the first and the millionth time. Another thing cubing has going for it is that every single solve feels unique. Because of the sheer amount of possible combinations on the rubiks cube, you pretty much never stumble upon the same solving process twice, which means you never know what to expect

*How to make an account* Go to Gan website and select the three lines in the corner. Then press login, and login OR sign up.Then go to the Cube Station app, and use your Gan website login to create your account.Don’t worry, the username you are given can be changed infinitely for free.Hope this helps 🤗

Weak argument. A good cube for top speedcubers is inherently a good enough cube for beginner cubers. I'm not saying it should be the first cube people buy and there's definitely better value options, but it's still a good cube to buy, especially if you like the GAN feel or want a super light cube. If anything, if you're getting serious about cubing, a cube that can support your potential at the top level is better because you won't need to buy new cubes as you get better.

Also a weak argument

I recomend trying the Meilong 3M. It's sandier at the beginning but it's a but more flexible. It's better if you want something less blockier. Also another one that I like it's the Maglev version of the RS3M, the 2021. Stronger magnets and a bit smother. That's talking about cheap ones. If you have a but more budget, the Gan 356M it's awesome if you want something flexible with strong magnets and the Super RS3M Ball Core if you want something more blockier, weak-mid magnets but super stable anyway thanks to the core magnets.
@RB-pp5tv2 ай бұрын
This Gan 15 is supposed to be cheap. Still, with that kind of money, I can buy a Tornado V4 Flagship with lots of adjustment, and also a V10 with that 20 magnet core. Those two would be more fun and more suitable for an average cuber like me.

I think our turning styles (including mine) have collectively become worse as the cubes started to forgive more, so the gan 15 isnt bad, we are just poche crybabys.

Can we just check and make sure that you don't have the weird squared off center pieces that apparently makes the cube really unforgiving in there? But for an "old folk" like me with RSI, the light weight of the cube is really the main selling point of the cube. Both the turning being light, and the cube itself. Some cubes like the original ys3m felt good... But the weight... Dang. My hands ached after just one solve. Sounds ridiculous I know, I thought so too and gave it a try, over and over again. But nope, didn't work for me when my hands were strained... So yeah.
@tryhardfighter1833Ай бұрын
Not just you, I'm 18, and the ys3 makes my hands ache after one solve too. I prefer lighter moyus like the rsv5 and gan cubes like the 11 and 12

As for what most people say, this cube reminds me of the GAN 12, but doesn't feel like the GAN 12 when turning. What I mean by that is the removal of edge-core repelling magnets and long magnet stocks are similar in position of the GAN 12 and you feel it. But when turning, it definitely feels different. The spherical piece design of the 15, makes this cube a little more tactile and stratchy in my opinion, and it catches. Similar to the first batches of the 12.
@skibo90472 ай бұрын
I feel like the only reason I keep going back to the 15 is the weight. Everything else feels heavy now after longer sessions. While I prefer the feel of the v3 (still not used to the v4) it just feels so heavy
