Chris had a lull in first half of 82. She clawed herself back to number one in 1980,81 and took a break with a light schedule the first 4 months of 82 playing just 3 tournaments losing to Andrea 3 times till French open. Here Chris gets revenge for her 3 set loss at family circle cup . Chris beat Andrea 7 times to Andrea’s 3 wins .Chris never lost to Andrea after French open Sf loss( her worst performance in a slam Sf. I doubt Chris slept the night before, she appeared so tired .

Иногда пересматриваю этот матч снова. Какая легкость в движении удара у Марата !!! Нет зажатости (сутулости) слева. С какой легкостью он направляет мяч и точно в цель !!!

If Monica Sales used to stay healthy then Steffi Graf used to get hardly 7/8 Gland slams

Cutting away just about they're about to shake hands at 32:16 is an epic failure on behalf of NBC.

I counted at least 10 foot faults Pete didn’t get called for! But this is without a doubt the best I ever seen Pete play!

Henman outdid himself and managed to win against all odds to an impetuous RF who had won more games overall and had been leading all tiebreaks yet he couldn't close... i suppose that fencing the henhouse is one thing. Catching the fox is another....

This was the first Wimbledon final where I felt no way in how it panned out. The crowd was subdued and I’m glad Lindsey won now looking back, because it was her only win there.

1:50 people don't realise how skilled Henman was. Or at least they forget. He was top-10 for most of the main part of his career. He just suffered from being a bit lightweight - no killer shot(s). And that was a handicap at that level

Great match. Stop showing service winners - no one prefers service winners over open play

Hingis was a great player, so was Kim, Capri etc., but they wasn't that athletic as like many other players doing that era. Those ladies could not run and wasn't fast enough for the Willam sisters. Here you can see how slow of a runner Hingis was; however, S. Graf and J. Henin was a different story, they were fast as hell. Nonetheless, this is how the William sister change Tennis for real. These new players are very fast and shows great Athletic abilities. Old female Tennis players were like pretty girls and cheerleaders, they barely moved and not too much running at all. After the William sisters, these new tennis players are now Track stars, body builders and have the hardest face..lol... they changed the game for real, no more soft pretty tennis. Its a Sport for real now. lol

Logo nos primeiros games, dava pra ver na expressão do Bugrera, que ele sabia que não tinha a menor chance. O ultimo ponto ele simplesmente acaba com a tortura.

Yes PowerPoint hitters like Williams Sister made the life diffucult for her after 99 but the thing is Hingis shots also become loopy after 99.Even her service better in 1997.

Hingis always hit the ball like a cannon and the high ball landed at the edge of the baseline. This will let her opponent to move backward and take more times to return. Because she's weak in delivering power shots, she has to rely more on rallies & her strategies pay off. Legend😊😊.

Omg this was SUCH GOOD TENNIS 🎾 😆 We had my sistas the one and only Williams Sisters, Sharapova, Capriati, Hingis, Kuznetzova, the Belgians, Seles, and Graf. These were legends pretty much playing each other towards the end of beginning of their careers ❤
