I was at this show! It's at a venue called "Tight Pockets" in my hometown of Athens,GA! I drove 7 hours to see them because that's the closest they were coming to where I live now(Huntsville, AL), and there was NO WAY I was going to miss them! It was them and SELFISH, as well as NO! from Athens.....

My first NMA live experience was at this show, been listening since 89', still remember like it was yesterday the first time listening to Thunder and Consolation, its music and lyrics called to me in a way only a few bands have done. I have seen them many times in America and hopefully i get to see them again soon, its been to long.

Well, this golden age of communication Means everyone just talks at the same time And liberty just means the freedom to exploit Any weakness that you can find Turn off the TV just for a while Let us whisper to each other instead And we'll hope that the corporate ears do not listen Lest we find ourselves committing some kind of treason And filed in the tapes without rhyme, without reason While they tell us that it's all for our own protection Justin wrote that in 1987... Damn.

Dude I was fucking there!
@Eric666morse3 жыл бұрын
Haha! the dude on vocals was a dickhole when our band played. We were supposed to open for them! but more people showed up for us, so the venue made them play first in case people would leave after we played. So he purposely said our name wrong “make sure you stay for fucking shit `sleepless in Seattle’” We could have gotten up there and said “hope you enjoyed listening to McDonald’s yell for half an hour?!? we’re `the sleepless continuum’ Fuck you James…

I think you mean the late 90s... pretty sure they were broken up by 1999. Woulda loved to have seen where they'd have ended up had they lasted into the 00s.

Kind of depressing watching this. Lance sounds really lazy/effortless when singing. Esp with the older songs, which were more emotionally charged to begin with. Any j church live vid is s awesome though
