Long-term sustainable project: the European Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra was created in the context of the European Capital of Culture Esch2022 and will continue to live well beyond 2022.
Our aim is to bring together professional musicians and the best students from European music conservatories to work on an original and demanding repertoire.
Sharing of the European spirit and values: The musicians will be able to discover other cultures and forge close ties of friendship across the European continent. In this way the European Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra will also contribute to a better understanding of Europe's multicultural diversity.
Open to young musicians to offer them a unique experience and to support the musical training of future professional artists.

That's some classy playing! Everyone moving together so relaxed and precise, and wonderful soloing. This is one of my favourite pieces of the mandolin orchestra repertoire, and I think this is the best recording I've heard.
