Hello sir! I've been interested by the Spector case..for a whilr now, and I think that you are very wise to have come this far and done so much. If you don't mind, could you tell me more about the life you lived in the Spector home and the people who you loved with? If you don't feel comfortable.. that is perfectly ok! I'm very inspired by you! Sincerely, Isabel, aged 12

You seem too young to be interested in what I've been through. You should be enjoying your youth and not absorbed in the pain of man's past. However, thank you for considering me wise, something I'm sure you're on your way to becoming. The simple story of my past is that I was five when I was brought to the Spector home, along with my twin brother Gary. In the family, there was already a 2-year-old child, Donte. Besides the kids, of course, were Phil Spector and Ronnie Spector, along with the staff who worked there. Ronnie left only six months after I arrived, so I only really got to know her when I was in my late 30s. My brothers and I had our own rooms, which we were locked in most of the day, except when going to school. So, we only had a little play time together. At the moment, I am working on a memoir about my life. The book is The Gingerbread House on LaCollina Drive and should be out early next year. Not that I'm telling you to buy it; I don't think it would be something you should read, but I'm letting you know that I am an open book, so feel free to ask questions. But I'll make my answers short as I feel short answers are the easiest to get through and to write. It was nice to hear from you. Now go outside and play, enjoy your youth.

Thank you sir. Yes, I will enjoy my youth while I have it. When I get older, im sure I’ll stumble upon this again, and maybe buy your book. (When im older, of course!) I’m very glad to hear from you as well.

Whats your opinion on "Christmas Kids" By roar? Im aware that you are one, but what was life like? How bad really was Phil, as least from your perspective?
@Louispspector
@Louispspector 4 ай бұрын
Personally, I think hearing a song about me was rather cool. The song itself isn't my style of music, but the idea behind it is cool. Phil-Dad was pretty bad, not in a physical way but emotionally. I am currently working on a book about my life with Phil and hope to have it out later this year.

@@LouispspectorThanks for your perspective. I'm glad you were able to endure that. That was definitely broken and twisted. I'm sorry you had to go through that. But on a lighter note, I enjoy your music and I might honestly buy that book, although I'm not a big reader.

Was Phil ever fatherly to you? Did he ever take you under his wing in any manor? Any sentimental moments? I’m writing a paper for my school about 60’s music particularly produced by Phil Spector, I’m also covering the background of it all. What better way to learn about than from the son of Phil and Ronnie. Thanks in advance.

The simple answer would be no, he did not. Since his father passed away early on, my father never had a guideline or an example of how to be a good dad. That's not to say it was all bad; we had our moments, ones that I still think of fondly. No family is perfect. Good luck with your paper.

56 years ago in the summer of 1963 this recording was the beginning of one of the most holiday tunes of all time. It will continue to be long after we who are here are gone. What is interesting is there are many who have yet to be born will here this and the entire album for the first time. Music seems to have a greater power and shelf life than any of us could ever do or that we can create beyond our own expectations.

if you wouldn't mind telling me, what company made this. My mother has one, and I would like to buy some more only it is difficult to find. I hope that if I found the company it would help me in my search.

I wish I could, but there is no info on the back of who or what company made it, only that is was made in China. I still bring it out each Halloween and enjoy listening to it. I've had it for about 20 years and it still works. Wish I could have been more help.
