Vocabulary matters. The important thing is that your body language has to reflect your respect for authority. It's a civil responsibility. Without it, your rights are stripped away and circumstances take over your whole life. Know what title the officer you are speaking with has. Be polite. Be cooperative. Show respect. Without knowing how to express the right words, you become a victim. I have called 911 to find the owner of a stray dog, help me lift someone off the floor and find out if someone was abusing my mother while I was kidnapped with the help of local and state government. I should have called the federal government, if I had known who to speak to about my situation. You become stuck. I was taken for a year! The state was aiding the operation with their money. Thank God the police were always available to help me survive. Every time a person in captivity is found to be calling the police, someone reports it to someone else, then you get dragged away in a paramedic ambulance for 3-5 days. It's an abuse of the baker act. It's illegal. The baker act is supposed to be used for someone interested in suicide or homicide. It's a rotten business and law enforcement is tired of aiding local and state governments perpetuate the injustice. Relatives assume you are being "taken care of" or rehabilitated. Your parent think you were taken away for being mentally insane. Your friends are too busy to contact you. Your neighbors become scared that you'll blame them for being taken away. It's an animal farm. My advice to people who talk to the police is to just start crying and let the police officer know the whole story of when the injustice occured. It's a whole organized crime!!! It's human trafficking funded by national insurance companies. Currently, 2024 Healthcare doesn't want your money. It wasn't to "take care" of the burden which is your life from beginning to end. Please, let's keep jargon, terminology, vocabulary and nomenclature in the right places. Your body has humors. Let them give you peace and love to maintain law and order. Thank you. Is that a 16” or 21” baton? My youngest son was in the USAF Security Service for three tours in Baghdad back in the day. He said he liked the 16” baton the best. But then again, he’s 6’-9” tall and already has plenty of reach.

I took some of this on board in my training scenario for my officer safety training assessment, first scenario was bob the dummy as above and I had to kick and punch it, I also threw in a few palm distraction strikes.

Well done indeed in terms of WHEN is safe 2 apply hand cuff. I view other police video was VERY important reminder that hand cuff can ONLY be apply when suspect is cooperating and forcing handcuff will injure that will create legal issue! PLUS, two types of hand cuffs the video covered in slow motion (!): 1) Stack handcuff one hand on top n other hand at bottom, 2) other techniques was doubling or essentially horizontal hands one after another.

Those “crash bars” will do absolutely nothing for the rider in a crash. All they do is protect the engine and saddle bags if the bike is dropped or tipped over at low speeds. This is why they’re actually called engine guards and bag guards.

Have been watching / studying the art / science of baton strikes , to various parts of the human body for quite a while now , and I must say , with a background as both a Military Police Officer , as well as in another capacity I can't divulge at this time , this man is impressive , and right on the money. It’s what they see on a regular bases that haunts them. Also it’s the verbal abuse that they are subjected to and the pent up frustration with their job and trying to handle the responsibility of a pressured career and being married with young kids all takes its toll on police officers.

It would have to be up there as the hardest career anyone could take on unlike the battle field which is terrifying.for soldiers. Being a police officer is a battle field everyday they are on duty for 40 years if they last that long. I was studying what police officers face each day by researching hundreds of traffic stops and looking at the body cam footage to get a perspective of what police officers go through each day. Getting dressed each morning is a step by step process and it’s a job in itself. Having to wear all that gear wouldn’t be comfortable. Then there is the traffic stops my adrenaline was going through me just watching them approach a vehicle. A could not believe how many angry people are on the roads. The verbal abuse was shocking and then there were the really hyped up ones who were on drugs and they were spiting at the officers and trying to kick them and physically fight with them. And then the drunks who were even more violent. The domestics were i got to see more drunks and lowlifes. The violence toward the police was shocking. Seeing little children living in filthy trailer parks, homes and shacks. The violent shop lifters and seeing young people reck their future with DUIs and DWIs . People being hit by drunk drivers and police officers having to deal with the mentally disturbed. Not to mention police officers being shot at and sadly some of them fatally. Then they have all the paperwork to do, a lot of paperwork. Than coming home to dinner on their own, a quick shower and then bed and back on the road again next day to do all this stuff again. I am glad that my research come to its end it was two months of study and research that I would never put myself through again. If it had gone on for another couple of weeks I would have pulled out. And this is we’re it became a problem. I was starting to feel depressed and there was a few days where I felt quite depressed doing this research. Now I know what police officers are describing and going through because I got a taste of that depression. I don’t know how they can cope doing what they do. They see it and experience these things for real. I was going through it on a computer screen and it was making me very depressed. I am fine now that it’s over thank goodness.
