I mean you could argue Sweet Heat Lightning is a derivative of this song, albeit a distant derivative.

The timing of the violins at the start was not in tune with the voice of Sarah and they were quite clearly out-of-sync..... As well as that the music was too overpowering for the First minute or so

Are there any live performances where Sara holds the note as in the studio version?

Hi Eric! Can you please repost TS Eras tour, I just want (all too well - the 10 minute version) please! your angle was so perfect, minimum crowd noise, and just an awesome recording. Please please please. I will probably never ever see taylor swift in my life this close to her, but i just want that song live.

20 year fan....imagine CC gave these songs to a younger band they would be HUGE songs....i think as a band gets older people just stop paying attention except for super fans...point is this song is awesome and would be a hit for but for CC just another great song in monster catalog of songs for them

Am I the only one who interpreted this song as a plea to not give up on a relationship kind of love and to find joy in the little things with your partner and offer up your comfort at the end of the day as the purest form of love? I went through a really rough breakup when I discovered this album and this single song on the whole album was the most gut wrenching of all because of how I interpreted it. Doesn’t hurt as much thank goodness.. but it felt like a sucker punch to the heart to hear this then.
@cadreycole95053 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly why this song is so special because it’s very versatile. The meaning of this song in general is about returning to a place of love and hope. So whatever it is you’re going through in life, even though it can be very messy and chaotic, don’t forget that you can always go back to find love, whatver that may be to you, like it could mean friendship, family or your own self. It’s not just only tied into a one type of thing, it can be interpreted into whatever fits your own narrative. It’s such a rare gem, if I must say. I love her so much. Went to her concert in SF and it was truly a life changing moment. ☺️
