Agreed. The historic rides can't hold a park together in this competitive climate, especially at their price point. Lower prices or more rides are in order to get the place back on its feet, something they definitely want to do before Universal enters the scene as that will impact every park!

It's a long drive from around here, so our pro tip is to account for delays as they happen often, set off early (around 5am) and take a break halfway through at a maccies to grab a drink and rest your eyes 😅 Thank you 😁

This was just before schools were out so we got stricken by school trips, 90 to 120 mins on most rides til around 3:30pm! 😱 Now that the kids are out of school though, weekdays are probably quieter! 😅

I definitely think if they can't solve the roughness, then it should go as plenty of people get hurt on it like Sarah did. It would upset so many people if it had to be removed with all that history being lost - but if they can't fix the issues, it sadly needs to go and be replaced by something more modern - Steve

@@NETHER_NINJA It can depend sometimes on how busy the park is, we don't necessarily want to be annoying other guests when we can avoid it so we try to be somewhat reserved 😝 As for rides, we've definitely had our fair share of extreme rides, especially this year with Zadra, Hyperion, Gotham City Escape, and Hyperia. The best way to describe it is that we're always excited to get on coasters, especially something new, but we're so used to them we're just happy and relaxed by the time we get off the ride haha

Oh no 😔 We hope your partner has a speedy recovery, it's awful getting hurt on a coaster that should be fun 😢 It's definitely not ideal to have to pay for the speedy passes on top of your tickets, it's not cheap as we know but it's the only way to enjoy the day when they let that many school trips book in.

@@CoasterBaras thank you she's a tough nugget and it was packed to the rim when we was there so I had no choice but the get the speedy pass from all the kids just jumping in the lines cost 80 for the tickets and a 100 for the speedy passes 180 for 5 hours lol not cheap indeed

Hah I can see why dude, the passes at Blackpool at least are very worth the money unless you go on the quiet days, Merlin parks are a bit different if you want unlimited fast pass as they charge an arm and a leg! Sorry to hear that, it probably happens to more people than we think, and you can't always control getting a wheel seat or not 😔 It is very unfair, most arrive between 10:30 and 11am and then leave around 3pm, so they'd only get 2-3 rides all day. That overbooking also impacts the rest of the guests too, unless you fork over money which is possibly why they allow the park to be at that capacity 🤔

Hi! We popped in briefly during our Thorpe trips but didn't have time to vlog, but we're down there to vlog in October along with Thorpe's Halloween events 😄🎢

It's sad to see as the park has so much history and has the potential to be great 😔 We know it's hard being a family run park but they really need to invest more in the restoration and the new. We loved The Big Dipper but after this incident, neither of us want to go back on it anytime soon 😢

It's such a shame - iconic rides, brilliant view of the sea and a lot of history. If they invest in the right areas they could bring back some of that Pleasure Beach glory, but it is sad to see at the moment 😔 The staff are still great, they still have Valhalla, Icon etc. but we believe they sure need some TLC

@@CoasterBaras Even Valhalla though was wasted, they spent years refurbing it to just make it worse. The one thing it needed was to reduce the amount it gets you wet and to fix the boats so they do not flood. No one wants to get that soaked in the UK and no one wants their shoes soaked as it ruins them.

It was a bit unfortunate, we like The Big Dipper, but it's getting extremely rough at the moment, especially to cause injury to seasoned coaster goers. We'll always call out the good and the bad, we don't believe in shilling for any park no matter how much we may love them, you always need honesty!

To be fair its been like that since i was a kid, they are seemingly re doing alot of the tracks and such for rides but im not sure about the big dipper like ​@CoasterBaras

It'll always depend on the time of the season (school trips, schools off etc), but we were only waiting 15-20 mins for Fianna and The Quest, mostly the same for the flat rides, the only long queue was the woody because it had one train at the start of the day. The quietest times for all parks are usually March-June, and September-November, as there's not as much school trips and kids are in school 😄🎢

Most parks that let you require a chest mounted camera. For those, GoPro's are usually always allowed, but a lot of them won't let you use wrist straps for example. But quite a lot of parks sadly don't let you film, so it's always best to check beforehand. Some people are using the camera fitted Meta glasses to record as loop holes, but your mileage may vary!

Hi! They seemed to accept most cards, but you should definitely check with your bank to make sure you can use it in Poland and to make sure they won't block the card when you're there. You should also check your banks foreign exchange rates/charges, as it may be cheaper getting the Euros exchanged. We personally opened a Monzo account for our European trips as it has the best exchange rates from our experience when paying in the local currency. It's also advisable to select the option to pay in the local currency when there instead of your native one, even with a card such as Monzo or your bank, as the exchange rate is usually better. @@Emmagem12 The inversions are over in a flash so it's nothing to worry about, on Fianna you tend to get some positive g-force on the inversions so you get the feeling of being pushed into your seat, feels totally cool! On other coasters with slow inversions (like Hyperia at Thorpe Park), you get hang time where you feel like you're hanging in your seat due to the slow speed, also a pretty awesome feeling 😄
